Our stay at Addie's cottage was delightful. The place was clean, well-furnished, and equipped with all the necessary utensils. Both hot and cold water pressure was excellent, creating a cozy and warm atmosphere. The bedrooms were tidy and comfortable. Addie proved to be very responsive and helpful, enhancing our experience. However, we encountered a few minor issues: 1) We discovered and eliminated several small cockroaches in the kitchen, particularly around the garbage cabinet. 2) The dining chairs were deteriorating, leaving lots of tiny pieces on our clothing when we used them. 3) The non-functional hot tub was a surprise upon arrival. Although mentioned in the listing, we missed it and so suggest making it more prominent, perhaps in the title, as the photos and description led us to expect a working hot tub. This could also be Airbnb's fault, since I specifically selected the "hot tub" option during my search, clearly indicating a preference for a property with a working hot tub.

I booked Renee’s place last minute because another Airbnb cancelled. I’m so glad we did because this place was beautiful and we had such a wonderful time. Renee was incredibly responsive and kind in all her messages. We bought our two month old and a cot was provided which made our lives easier. The kitchen was also pretty well stoked and the beds were super comfy. I think this is an incredible stay considering how affordable it is. Renee truly saved our holiday. Thank you!

Brett was an awesome host. Was always super responsive and helpful. His cottage was such a relaxing time for my family and I. The backyard was very private and great for my dog to run around in. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and using the fire pit!

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

We are so happy with our stay! The property was beautiful and the amenities were an added bonus. We mainly booked this location because we needed something that was wheelchair accessible and this home absolutely meet all our needs. Door were wide enough for the wheelchair, beds were high so we could get a lift under to make transferring to and from the wheelchair possible. It was also easy to get in and out of the home with a wheelchair. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There was also great communication before and after our stay. We felt right at home and the location was wonderful for a stay in PEC. We plan to go back again!

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

Our stay at the cottage was very enjoyable. The cottage was very clean with all essentials and many pleasant extras included like Keurig machine, bbq, kayaks and canoes, fire pit, and pool. The lake is quiet here with access to it steps from the cottage. A little boat house is also available with many life jackets for adults and kids. Fishing can be done at the dock. Rich was an excellent and responsive host. He answered all my questions promptly and helped us literally within minutes when we needed additional info about the area. We definitely would recommend friends to stay at this lovely cottage!

We had a wonderful time relaxing by the fireplace on the beanbag chair, cooking meals in the kitchen and roasting marshmallows at the fire! The home wasn’t too hard to find and the instructions were very clear! Fully stocked dishware and utensils in the kitchen as well as linens provided for sleeping and showering. Back deck was welcoming and open which made it perfect for barbecuing. Overall very good!

I came to this beautiful spot with my wife and five-year-old son in September. Our cottage was perfect for what we needed -- and we all appreciated the AC and hot shower! Our son had a blast playing on the playground, the beach, and activity room. He cried when it was time to leave! We all enjoyed the beautiful lake and the different water toys available, in particular the stand-up paddleboards. My wife and I had never used those before and had a ball! As huge Tragically Hip fans, we loved the various nods to the Hip on the property. Bobcaygeon itself is incredibly charming. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and it was terrific value for money. I'd recommend this to anyone and hope to return soon with some friends. Thanks for such a fantastic family experience!

What a great place. Stephen was fantastic and a great communicator. The place was lovely. Bright, comfortable and cozy. We felt at home right away. Loved the outdoor space, the view and the chairs right by the water. The ice had just gone out so we couldn't swim, but we all talked about how great it would be to swim off that dock and use all the water toys. We all agreed it was the perfect getaway. We also all agreed that Stephen has thought of everything - clear instructions, great notices, all the things you need in a kitchen etc. It is clear that he knows what he is doing!

Nous avons adoré ce chalet situé dans un lieu calme, paisible, beau. Le logement était très bien équipé (nous avons même trouvé un adaptateur alors que nous n'avions pas pris le nôtre). Le parking devant le chalet n'est pas accessible sans voiture adaptée à cette période de l'année, comme nous l'a indiqué l'hôte, nous nous sommes garés facilement sur la route très proche du logement.

My family couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. As far as bang for your buck goes you can’t do better. Andrew and Hali were exceptional hosts, very responsive and helpful anytime we had questions. Everything was very clean, bedrooms and furniture throughout were very comfortable. My boys would absolutely love to come back, and we’d highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a seamless experience on a beautiful lake. Thank you for such a great experience!

We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Krista she is very kind, responsive and proactively checked us to make sure everything is fine with out any problem. her place is very beautiful, has stunning river side view as well as warm and cozy nest that you can get relaxed and enjoy the beautiful nature. also , any amenities and needs that makes your stay more enjoyable, is available there! so do not worry! you absolutely enjoy staying there. we recommend to stay there at least 2 night! thank you krista for your warm hospitality!

We had a fantastic stay! Kelly was incredibly friendly and very responsive, making the entire process smooth and welcoming from start to finish. The property itself is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The highlight for us was the stunning lake, which added such a peaceful and scenic touch to our getaway. The home was also impressively well-equipped and stocked with everything we needed and more, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

thank you Richard for the wonderful vacation!! the place was exactly as described and Richard gave us great direction since Google maps doesn't do the best job. the property was huge, plenty of amenities. the peddle boat was missing plugs so we grabbed some from in town and left them for the next guest.

This was our first time using an Airbnb. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised at this place. I would for sure book this place again. We went with my parents who are older so getting down to the water for them was a little bit difficult. Our dog loved it lots of space for her to run around. Thinking we need to go in the fall for sure the leaves would be beautiful.

Had a wonderful time at the cabin for our anniversary! The land and creek were beautiful and felt very private despite being off the highway. The inside was so cozy and inviting and we really appreciate the tea coffee and snacks and hosts attention to detail. Would absolutely recommend for a weekend away.
