The spacious, state-of-the-art kitchen comes fully equipped with every item of kitchenware you could possibly need to rustle up anything from a snack to a gourmet meal. The main living area was the former pub's saloon bar, and in tribute to the building’s rich history has been fitted with a copper-topped bar, a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while looking out across the water. In keeping with the pub theme, there's a second “breakfast and coffee bar” next to the kitchen, an ideal spot for a leisurely morning read. The former beer cellar has been converted into a cinema and is now a secret haven to unwind and indulge a media fix. Guests have access to fast, reliable WiFi in every corner of the property and a large washer and dryer for their personal use. The property has central heating throughout, with underfloor in the en-suites, making it a cosy bolthole even on the chilliest of days. By Train: The hourly high-speed train service takes approximately one hour and twenty minutes from London, St. Pancras to Deal town centre and the house is a ten-minute walk from the station. By Car: Deal is twenty-minute drive north Dover and well connected to the motorway network. One parking permit is supplied for guests use, additional pay and display parking is readily available.

Fanny’s Dilemma, Middle Street

Fanny’s Dilemma was built in 1715. The original part of the house is hugely atmospheric with original panelling and fireplaces, steeped in the smuggling history of Deal. The cosy winter parlour and dining room are truly delightful. The airy room at the back of the house has evolved and is now a modern kitchen/family room. Renovated in 2021, it has vaulted ceilings and access to the garden The 4th bd rm in the basement down steep stairs and has a small 4ft double bed and private shower room.

If you are looking for some vintage charm by the sea and you love the sound of seagulls, Gull Cottage set over 3 floors is the one for you. It's a wonderful place to get away from the day to day stresses with the beach and the sea gulls making it feel like a proper holiday every time. It has loads of character and is as comfortable, in the summer or the winter with either the mature garden or the snug to relax in. The road is made up of pastel colour houses with a real sense of the neighbourly.

A small, former fisherman’s cottage (ideal for 2 to 3 people) dating back to mid-1800s, Sea Sprite is just one minute away from Deal’s High St, seafront and pier. Located in the heart of the historic Conservation Area, the three floor property has been furnished to create a comfortable, cosy environment. (It should be noted that the stairs to the first and second floor are steep and narrow, with the bathroom on first floor). It’s the perfect base to explore the South East Kent coast.

Built in the 1760s, Jubilee Cottage is a Grade II, four-storey cottage set in Deal's historic conservation area. The cottage is a pebble's throw from the beach (50 meters), and moments from Deal's High Street with its independent shops, bars and restaurants. Jubilee Cottage is furnished to create a stylish, comfortable, and relaxed space for up to four people - and with a view of the sea from the main bedroom. A great base for exploring Deal and the Kent coast, or just to relax.

My cottage was built in the 1800's and is small but perfectly formed. Newly refurbished it's in a convenient location close to the beach, shops, bars/restaurants, train station and conservation area. It's location makes it the perfect gateway to either London or Europe. Please note to keep my prices low, the price quoted is for couples sharing the main bedroom. If the spare bedroom is required to be made up, it is an extra £20 per night (with 10% discount if longer than one week).

Just a stone's throw from the busy High Street and train station, it provides a convenient and characterful base for exploring the town, the local coastline and the wider East Kent region, with its picturesque walks, beaches, and many excellent golf courses. Pets are very welcome by arrangement. The garden is sunny and has outside seating to make the best of warm evenings.
