There are excellent links from the train station to Manchester airport, Leeds, York and London via Wakefield. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

Charming one bedroomed self contained cottage

Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. It is self contained with one spacious bedroom which has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed. We are close to Dewsbury Hospital with easy access to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. M1 and M62 motorway links. We have made the cottage as comfortable as possible to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Village BnB , Private annex in Thurstonland

Private annex with independent access and private bathroom (no kitchen). Great location, in the lovely village of Thurstonland. Ideally situated for exploring the local trails on foot or bike, which give fantastic, far reaching views towards the Peak District and across the Pennines. Good food and hospitality are available at the village pub which is a two minute walk away.

The Cottage

Semi rural, yet close to amenities with easy access to the M1. New build cottage with privacy and fenced in patio area. Dogs welcome and walks are permitted around the fields but keep them in a lead please. Private parking. Yorkshire Sculpture park and mining museum close by. Smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime if you bring your own login details.
