Stable Studio at Airlie Castle

A bright and comfortable open-plan space on the first floor of the old stable block on the Airlie estate, in the spectacular Angus Glens. High beamed ceilings give a spacious feel to the main room. Everything here is made from Douglas Fir ply, including walls, floor and furniture. It'll feel very cosy here at night with the lamps lit, the wood fire and the large bed with feather pillows and wool blankets. The loo and bathroom are down 4 steps, please note no dividing door. Minimum stay 1 night.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision

Equally beautiful in all seasons especially winter being so very cozy, it is fully heated with lots of hot water for the freestanding bath for two. The Seaside/Harbour town of Arbroath is a 5 min drive away, with lots of lovely Cafes, Restaurants, Cinema and Theatre. Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. Bus and Train Station in town for those who want to venture further.
