Excellent place to stay for large parties. Loads of room and amenities were excellent. The host is great at answering any questions. We will definitely stay again as location is perfect.

My two night stay was great. I arrived by train and the station is just a couple blocks from the house, which was very easy to find thanks to the map Kelv sent me with a red line marking the walking route right to his door. Kelv is a lovely host who gave me a warm welcome to his gone and showed me everything I might need, and emailed me another map with a red line from his house to the beach that is known as one of the best places in the world to find sea glass. I walked 20,000 steps on the beach the first day and yes, I found sea glass. I had a lovely short stay in Seaham, thanks to Kelv. I would stay there again, for sure.

Delightful and memorable stay - if I come to the Dales again I'll definitely try to stay with Rachel again. Extremely considerate and very flexible when I asked for supper at late notice and then turned up much later than advertised - apologies, and thanks!

Booked this house for a work colleague and he was happy there, the house had everything he needed for his stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Adam's. The room was cosy and comfortable and I felt right at home in the shared spaces. I didn't cook but there were a good range of appliances if required and a generous supply of tea and coffee. It's a nice location with easy parking and a useful bus service nearby. It is also 10 minutes away from a park and ride, which is a good option as parking in Durham City is very difficult. The city centre is walkable in 30 to 45 minutes and there is a retail centre 10 minutes walk away. As a previous Durham resident I think that it would be difficult to find a better place to stay at this price,

Fantastic stay. Lots of space and felt very homely. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and we’ll definitely be back. Nigel was very helpful leading up to our stay and he sent us very detailed instructions in case we got lost and always stated he would be available to help any time. Fantastic customer service

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

We really were super happy with Nigel’s property. It felt luxurious, boutique, comfortable, safe and incredibly clean, if we’re we’re in the area again, we would definitely stay here. Paula and Alex

Perfect place to stay for Kyren. Easy walk to the site and even easier to get the market place shuttle. A little noisy in the evening but given that it's right in the centre not bad. Easy check in and good instruction on how to find the place.

Clean and tidy, peaceful and quiet despite proximity to train station which is a bonus if using the train to commute.

We were visiting friends nearby and this was an ideal location for us. Everything was as described, and we were really thankful of the bread and milk ! We will definitely stay again , thanks Nigel.

I had the most wonderful experience staying here. Rosie was very welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The cottage is beautiful and really cozy. The upstairs was spacious and the bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. Rosie was kind enough to take the time to walk with me to the River Derwent. It was such a beautiful stroll and a lovely way to see the area through a local’s eyes. She also gave great tips on nearby places to explore and walk around. In the evening, they even offered me pizza and chips, which was so thoughtful and kind. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I had a fresh fruit salad followed by a lovely hot breakfast. Rosie also shared a homemade jam, which made it feel all the more special. I couldn't recommend Rosie's place enough. Thank you, Rosie and Paul, for the warm hospitality!

This place beats every other booking I have made on Airbnb. Deserves beyond a 5 ⭐️ Was in Newcastle for a short weekend trip, visiting family with my wife and 5 year old. Gary’s place was only 24mins from our destination, so it was not too much distance. Gary is great personality, friendly and chatty. Made our little girl feel at home. The apartment was in pristine condition you would not want to mess it up. Very private with sparkling bathroom (and sufficient bathroom supplies and toiletries) and lounge where you have several video collections and access to internet to stream online if you wish. So many free options for breakfast as well. Such a great deal for great price. I will certainly book this place again when next I am in the area.

Steve is a fantastic host!! Warm and welcoming. The House is lovely and cosy, was the perfect overnight stay for the event I was up in the area for. Steve put on a great breakfast including delicious home made bread. Can’t recommend enough. Enjoy

Stayed here while I attended a wedding at Redworth Hall so it was a perfect location for that. The room was nice and spacious, lovely comfy bed and I opted for the £5 cooked breakfast in the morning which was a nice treat. Paul and Jasmine made me feel very welcome.

Heather is a wonderful host and the Coach House is exactly as described. The information provided by Heather is really helpful and Heather responds to queries very quickly. The Coach House is spotlessly clean and has everything you need although the provision of a TV would be a bonus. However, WiFi is available and guests are offered the opportunity to watch TV to on their own devices. The location is excellent with lovely views from the Coach House windows. I would highly recommend the Coach House and I plan to return soon.

Lovely place to just get your head down after a day on the bike! We were left to our own devices and helped ourselves to a well stocked breakfast room the next morning. Good pub is just a walk down the lane.

Moira is friendly, helpful and flexible. Her home is cosy and in a quiet area however very close to the Metrocentre and many great places to eat. Moira always leaves a nice breakfast treat for my daughter. We will be back as soon as we can ☺️
