This place was wonderful! Perfect for visiting Virginia! Monica was very friendly! Would stay again!

We loved our stay at the cottage over an extended Easter weekend. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us (teenage son, my wife and sister-in-law). We went there to get away, enjoy nature and each other and the mission was 100% accomplished! Jennifer's gardens are beautiful and the birds sang to us each morning and evening and all day. We got a tour of their yard and gardens and saw the chickens whose eggs Jennifer shared with us. Also, we loved the art around the cottage. They have some great paintings hanging in there as well as board games and books. I take day trips to the area often to visit some wildlife areas and it was so nice to be close by and easily visit those areas for sunrise and sunset. We all really enjoyed our stay . Kitchen was well-supplied. We were comfy and happy.

An ideal airbnb experience. Easy to find and access. All the lights worked, no broken drawers or cabinets, shower was easy to use, and in general this unit is well cared for. There isn't a full kitchen, but that is clearly shown in the photos and was what we expected. The entire apartment was very clean.

It was very nice my stay, very quite and comfy. Kathy and her husband they are very nice people.

Our 3-night stay at Legacy Lodge Bunkhouse in Windsor, NC, was a delightful escape to celebrate my wife’s and son’s birthdays. The bunkhouse kept our two kids entertained with games, toys, an air hockey table, and bunk beds our son adored. Outside, a mini paradise awaited: multiple fire pits (unlimited wood for $30, highly recommended), play areas, and a covered concrete space perfect for rollerblading and scootering. We enjoyed the wood-fired pizza oven and grilled steaks, though the propane grill needs a deep clean. The thoughtful birthday gifts and decorations for our son, plus a “Honk, it’s my birthday!” sign by host Deena (explaining the passing cars’ honks), added such a warm touch. This peaceful retreat is ideal for families or anyone seeking serenity. We’d absolutely recommend it!

Shynar is the absolute best host! The home is awesome. Everything you would need. We prefer to eat in and had everything at the home to prepare meals. Even had a new grill for cooking. Gas appliances were an upgrade to what we have at our home. Beds very comfy and a nice covered back porch to hang out in the evening. Very quiet neighborhood. We will be staying there in the future. Thank you Shynar for a great Weekend.

Great place to stay if you want a quiet get away. Plenty of space for stretch out and relax. Hosts were very friendly and very receptive when a question needed asking. Enjoyed time very much at the location. Plenty to see and do! Definitely would recommend for those wanting a relaxing place to rest and recover from a beach outing, amusement park, or a Tides baseball game!!

Second stay was as great as the first. The place is clean and organized; Tracy made sure we had all the info we needed in advance for a smooth check-in. There's a really helpful/informative "about us/house rules" notebook in the house, along with some snacks and amenities. We had everything we needed for our stay. The home is spacious and cozy; the porch in the back is fabulous. And I love the wall map (pin where you are from) - super cool. Will definitely stay again.
