Loved the location and the shepherds hut was perfect! Great for a night or two in an idyllic setting with stunning views, great walk and the perfect perch pub within a few mins walk away. The log fire burner was a bonus providing a warm cosy atmosphere. I loved the sound of the birds singing as well.

Such a magical weekend, thank you for having us! It was so peaceful and the animals were all so beautiful (even if the alpacas were a bit cheeky) The hottub made a fabulous finish to each evening under the stars. We will definitely be coming again!

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

Great host and wonderful place to stay. Had a really relaxing time and loved the fire pit and wood-fired hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

I booked this for my parents in law and Sue was brilliant. Very warm and welcoming and was happy for us to visit them as much as we liked. Beautiful garden with beautiful views, will definitely be booking again.

We had such a lovely, relaxing time during our stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was thoughtfully set up and made us feel right at home. Communication with Jon was easy and smooth from start to finish. We would definitely love to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Overall, accommodation was great and everything went well. Things that I would like to point out. List of amenities these things are not correct. 1. Carbon monoxide alarm for the fireplace. The bedroom is not operational which is a hazard. 2. Coffee machine was not there. We asked and we were kindly given a jar instant coffee. 3. Outdoor to dining area doesn't exist. there is ourdoor furniture but not a dining area. 4. Outdoor kitchen doesn't exist either. They are correct, there is a BBQ as mentioned on the amenities , but that is not a outdoor kitchen. 5. I understand there is no Wi-Fi available. Which would I was okay with as I have 50GB of data. What I was not aware is that the location is in a virtually a signal dead zone there was one spot that we had to go to , if we wanted to receive our Whats-App messages. I would see this as an important thing to mention to people. Lastly , we had the lovely couple who lived at the corner who were available when we needed to ask questions.

Very close to, just 15 minutes, but out of the sprawl of Oxford; in beautiful farmland with fabulous walks and charming pubs, rivers for dipping into. Beautifully decorated space with everything one needs, quietly located in the corner of a field. Really comfortable bed with cushions, perfect place to read, with good light and a window. Recommend local-ish Mason Arms for relaxed coffee and papers. Good shower and thoughtful makeup mirrors in communal bathroom. Very quick response (booked hours before!) and kind and welcoming welcome.

Serena, Dave and their family made our stay in the Cotswolds amazing! They were perfect hosts, really making us feel at home and providing amazing recommendations for our time there. The hut was cosy and well worth the visit. You have everything you could need and the added enjoyment of doggos, nature and art. We loved every minute. Exploring the local area as well as staying close by to try the cakes at the tearoom. We enjoyed our little escape to the countryside and cannot wait to visit again.

A fantastic stay, accommodating even though we booked the hut at the last minute. Very welcoming and made us feel right at home, was always responsive when we had a question to ask. The shepherds hut was brilliant with amazing views and a peaceful setting! Getting to see the lambs when you first wake up is a real novelty. Bed was very comfortable and fire warmed the hut up instantly! My 6 year old had a fantastic time I was worried she was going to not have much to do but she loved having the open space all to her self and having the entire the field for my bulldog was great and she had a great time too! The hosts welcomed us with a great smile and waved us goodbye with a bigger one. They didn’t make us feel a hassle at all which really put us at ease. Thank you guys for a brilliant stay.

We had a relaxing stay this beautiful location. The accommodation was top spec and well maintained. The hosts left great recommendations for local walks and restaurants. Firewood for the outdoor bath was always topped up. The stunning views and peaceful atmosphere made for a perfect getaway. Excellent walking trails from the hut, perfect for the dog.

Lovely shepherds hut in a beautiful location with private garden. Merriscourt Team were very helpful and responsive and the hut had all amenities for an overnight stay while attending local festival.

Amazingly set out with everything in a small space. The setting is beautiful and peaceful The bed was super comfy too. Ann, the host was very helpful, and I can highly recommend her produce too.

Fabulous stay in an exceptional location. The shepherds hut was so well laid out and beautifully presented. The farm was friendly and the hosts were really helpful. We visited all the places they suggested in the short time we were there and were not disappointed. Can’t wait to go back and explore some more. 😁

We had a great stay. Rachel and her family were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed walks around the hut and some local pubs, reccomended by Rachel. Would highly recommend for a weekend away.

Amazing stay! Such a lovely little shepherds hut which was well equipped and perfect for us. Breakfast provided was a bonus and felt so welcome by Rosalind and family. We would definitely return if we were in the area!

Amazing stay in a picturesque location, the place was nice and clean with lots of amenities available to us. Only possible improvement could be to include a net to skim the hot tub in between uses, especially when there are flies and mosquitoes etc. on hot days. 10/10. Would recommend! 👍

Amazing stay! We were surrounded by lambs, situated in a quiet orchard on a farm. The shepherds hut was fantastic, loved the decoration and Emma Bridgewater mugs and plates! The local pubs and walks are fantastic. Would stay again. Thanks!

We had a lovely peaceful stay here for our birthday! The bath took a bit of working out to get the right temperature but we were lovely and warm in the end despite it being 1°c outside - thankfully there were bathrobes for us to use which was perfect! The canal and a little shop are literally 2min walk from the hut and we went to a nice pub just down the road (the admiral nelson) - you can either walk down the road or the canal to get there. Our dogs loved the paddock and cosy fire 🔥 Thank you so much 😊

I live locally and booked the shepherd's hut for my parents for a night. They were absolutely delighted with the stay - it's extremely comfortable, well appointed and spacious. They commented that the shower was fantastic, and there are loads of thoughtful touches all around the cabin as you explore. Thanks again, Mandy and Martin - I'm sure they'll be back!

Really nice stay here. Some of the amenities were missing but Laura was very responsive, instantly replied and stocked us up. Really nice to escape the city so would definitely recommend!

A lovely stay in the shepherd's hut at Bruern Farm, stunning peaceful location making it a great place for some r&r, with everything you could need. The fire pit a real bonus to take advantage of the weather we luckily had, lots to do and see. A great breakfast at the Bruern farm shop cafe, lovely trips to Burford (the garden co. is a must if your a gardener), food at The Fox in Barrington (lovely setting by the river) and The Old Shed.
