Amazing historic house in a beautiful area. Well positioned, very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space, kitchen well equipped. Check-in and check-out very easy, Dan always responsive and available for any need. We look forward to coming back here!

The cottage was decorated so cute! One thing I did not realize was that there was no actual shower, it had a soaking tub and sprayer. The property was extremely noisy, but that was in the listing. It had everything we needed for our quick trip. Lisa was very responsive to any questions or changes.

Very cute and comfortable. Enjoyed having a recliner! Everything was clean and as described by the lister. Loved the murals! If I were to return to Hemphill for any reason, I would definitely book Casita Bass again!

We truly enjoyed our time at the fish house. We fished during the day and had a nice little area to sit by a fire in the evenings. The area was very quiet and peaceful and right on the water. Ms Miranda was a gem. We definitely recommend staying here.

The location was convenient to Fort Johnson, located right outside the Maple gate and just about 15 minutes to Leesville. The location was peaceful and private, surrounded by lots of trees. The home was clean. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with supplies. We enjoyed our stay here and the hosts were both kind and responsive.

This was a gem of a place in a great location on the water. Would definitely stay again. The kitchen had anything you would need and would comfortably sleep a large family.

Absolutely adorable place. The whole place felt extremely homey and the host is absolutely amazing. Super sweet! Recommended some local places and they were absolutely amazing! Would come back if in the area again.

This place is amazing. The home its self is so cozy, and the master bed was so comfortable. The location is breathtaking. The water was very low and we were given a heads up before. But we didn’t let it stop us. Fishing was great. We enjoy a family of bald eagles each day and even got greeted every morning by the friendly neighborhood dogs. This place is just what we needed. Already looking to book for 3 more times next year!!! The pool was soo clear even though it was to cold to swim.

Jennica’s home was not only beautiful but well thought out and accommodating. She had really thought of everything. From having extra pool towels, to multiple first aid kits, a blow up mattress as well as multiple games located upstairs. We really enjoyed the speaker outside to listen to our music while we played with our kids in the pool. The beds were cozy and comfortable with soft, clean linens. My family thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hated we had to leave early due to a family emergency. Would definitely return if we are back in town.

Nice quiet place to stay, perfect for getting away.

We were just passing through from the Gonzalez outdoor expo and needed a place to stop and rest. We were just girls traveling and it was very nice to have such a safe space to stop. Daniel was so responsive and made it so easy to book and helped us out in every way that he could!We will definitely use this spot as a halfway point on our way back down to Lamar Dixon. If I could have given it 10 stars I would have!

We came to this property for a retreat, and it was definitely the perfect place for us! The grounds are beautiful to explore, the home is comfortable and spacious, and the porches are perfect for relaxing!

We loved staying at your bnb . It was perfect for us. When coming to LA we will never stay at a motel again. We will definitely be staying at your cozy house again. Our girls Loved the swing on the front porch. I personally Loved the tub in the bathroom!

Was a very cool place to stay we all feel in love with the decor and all the custom stuff that was in the home! Very comfy and homey would definitely get again!

Great location in a wonderful town. This is a perfect house for a family but the fourth bedroom is connected to one of the others with no door for privacy. You also have to go through another bedroom to get to the master. The other bathroom only has a hand held shower. These were minor for us as we’re a group of long term friends and barely detracted from an otherwise perfect stay. The house is absolutely lovely.
