This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Welcome to The Prom Queen on Beautiful Lake Monroe in Historic Downtown Sanford, Florida. We are super excited that you choose our beautiful Houseboat for your vacation. This Houseboat boasts 2 bedrooms, and one and half bathrooms. The Prom Queen boast 1850 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space. There are three deck spaces, and an outdoor table that seats six with a gas grill to enjoy our beautiful Florida sunsets. Boat is stationary only.

Vessel only needs 3ft of draft, which is great for traveling the Islands. Upper deck features 5 Captain swivel chairs, dinner seating for 6. Swim off the stern lower deck and climb back aboard from local beaches with an onboard ladder. Runs on Twin 670hp Cummins, and only burns 2 gallons per mile at 10 knots and will cruise at 25 knots.

This ferrocement boat Later Gator was made in Sweden in 1973. That’s right! It’s made of concrete! The boat circumnavigated the globe twice before eventually ending up here in sunny Sanford FL. We spent 2 years completely renovating everything and tried to leave as much of the boat’s original personality intact while adding modern amenities. Laundry facilities, showers and restrooms, diner, and marina store all on site, and downtown historic Sanford and river walk close by.
