IWM Duxford is nearby and there are fine countryside walks and several gastro pubs, restaurants, and bistros to choose from locally. The M11 is just over a mile away and Addenbrookes, AstraZeneca, Granta Park, Babraham Institute and Wellcome Genome Campus are all a short distance by car.

This two bed house in our charming country town has a south-west facing garden and is a 10 minute walk to the town centre, and a 15-20 min walk to Audley End. Children friendly house, great walks around and parks in the town. A short drive (30 min) or train (15 min) to Cambridge and close to London (nearest train station Audley End). Great for travelling business professionals, a weekend away, visiting family, and tourists!

Quiet, isolated, countryside Garden House
We built our garden house as a quiet place to relax by our tennis court (about 50m from our house). When Covid-19 came, we started making it available for airbnb. It's small, but very well made, with oak flooring & worktops, mini-kitchen (2-ring hob, oven/microwave, fridge, small freezer, toaster, kettle), lovely wet room with walk-in shower, separate toilet & sink, Miele washing machine, patio with view of the countryside. Superfast BT broadband is available. Quality single bed by Ikea.

The Garden Annexe
Set in the historic village of Babraham, The Garden Annex is a tranquil, self-contained and spatious double room with TV, WiFi, microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and new, uniquely designed en-suite shower room complete with Japanese-style bidet toilet. It has its own gate and pretty, secluded garden area and patio for morning coffee with the birds. With free (on road) parking and good food at the village pub, it's perfect for exploring nearby Cambridge or Duxford Air Show accommodation.

The Bakehouse is a totally self contained, newly renovated characterful detached annex to the left of our house. We also have "The Cob" and "The Barn", each suitable for 2 adults. Situated in a quiet position overlooking historic Thriplow's village green. Just a minute's walk and you reach the award winning community run gastro pub or well stocked village shop. Only 8 miles from the city of Cambridge, so perfect for anyone visiting or working in Cambridge or the surrounding area.

Recently renovated barn to a genuinely high spec - Grade II listed 'Dovecote' located on a working arable farm in a lovely remote setting in the Essex countryside. Situated next to a small duck pond, overlooking the farmyard/old stables/etc as well as the local church, The Dovecote is a two-storey brick and oak framed building finished to a truly high standard. Peaceful and remote with its own courtyard, the Dovecote has an elevated location in the otherwise undeveloped yard.

Barn Cottage is within easy reach of the market town of Saffron Walden, the historic Audley End Estate and Cambridge . It is comfortable in all seasons having underfloor heating and electric radiators . You have everything you need for a short or long stay. There are many wonderful country walks starting from the cottage.

This charming and spacious residence is located on the edge of a sleepy hamlet, 5 minutes from the pretty market town of Saffron Walden, 5 minutes from Audley End station and 25 minutes from Stansted Airport or Cambridge and Racing at Newmarket. This property is not suitable for children under the age of 10 due to very steep duckstairs or for senior guests.
