Cute little cottage with a ton of amenities right outside of downtown Wimberley. The location is great because it’s quiet but close enough for a 3 minute trip down the road to restaurants and shops. I’d recommend cabin 1/white because your porch with hot tub is very private. Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a great time, Tom was quick to respond when we were booking, the place was great, brought our dogs and had a really nice time. Right on the water and we had fun fishing from the lower level of the yard. Great outdoor grill and dinning area. Would stay again. Location was great and very convenient to everything.

Great stay!! Very comfortable for family of four. The park access was excellent for swimming and enjoying the river! Lots of deer activity every day. Thanks again hopefully be back soon!!

We had a little hiccup getting into the cabin but Cherri immediately came out to help. The cabin was perfect and secluded exactly like the photos.

Absolutely an adorable house with a lot put into the decor. It felt like home away from home. There are 3 types of AirBnbs: 1. Not going back there 2. That was enjoyable 3. Didn’t want to leave We definitely DIDN’T want to leave. -Neighborhood was clean. -Property and inside of the house was clean. -Easy to find. -Was private but yet people were around. -Adorable unique decor. -Solid A/C and heater. -Great water pressure. -Host was very responsive and friendly. We want to stay there again!!!

Fernweh was so peaceful and cozy. The unit was super clean and cozy. We enjoyed the dog run for our dog and the drive past the river to the grounds that felt super private. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool and hot tub but only stayed one night. Dakota was responsive, helpful and flexible. It was hard to leave and we will definitely go back!

We had such a great time. It was the first time we've gotten away by ourselves and this was the perfect spot for it. We were greeted by peacocks every morning. What an experience. Thank you

Great place. Very quiet and private location in the hill country. The bed is extremely comfortable. We loved sitting on the big front porch watching the horses across the street. From the outside it very much looks like an 1800s cabin (in a good way - girlfriend said it's, "freaking adorable"), but is very cozy inside and fixed up nicely. There's nothing within walking distance if that's what you're looking for. But if you want quiet, cozy, and peaceful, this will definitely give you that. And Kristin is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

We have stayed in this place before and just love it every time. host is responsive and great. place is clean and bedsheets always smell fresh and clean. When we visit family there, this is now the only AirBnB we will stay at in Canton Lake. Highly recommended definitely 5 stars

Best part of a wonderful stay was walking out into the country or down into town or through the historic park land right from the doorstep. Johnson City has a grocery store a liquor store and several restaurants- and is an easy picturesque drive to Pedernales Falls Fredricksburg and marble Falls. We never ran out of things to do or go see or explore. House is very well set up for longer or short stays. Neighbors are friendly but keep to themselves giving you your space. The deck porch and fire pit are definitely in view of the passing public-you are not in private outside. Quiet neighborhood on the edge of town. Great bird nd wildlife watching.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect get away! Kathy was such a gracious host and kept us informed of places to visit and events in town. She gave great instructions on how to find their place and stayed in touch to ensure we had everything we neeeded. She even hung a birthday sign because I mentioned we were celebrating husbands birthday! She left us hand feeders for the hummingbirds which was one of the highlights of the trip for us. We loved watching for all the birds on the feeders, walking out to feed the goats, and just having a peaceful place to be! It was a delight to meet Kathy and Wayne. Kathy even went out of her way to help my daughter hold one of the baby goats. We definitely hope to come back again some day! We loved purchasing some of Wayne's amazing metal work! We hope to visit again soon!

We had a wonderful stay over a long Easter weekend with family! The deck area overlooking the lake is a fantastic place to hang out with family and pets. We played card games outdoors and there is a cool fort with slide that kept our We also enjoyed sitting in the shady area down by the lake with access to a hammock and chairs. The cabin is cozy and peaceful. We slept really well each night with the black-out shades. Overall, a wonderful cabin. Thank you for sharing it with us for the weekend!

Thanks for providing the ideal place as headquarters for our medical marathon. We especially enjoyed the wildlife-deer, fox, and several bird species, especially all the turkeys. The casita provided good, comfortable beds, and a good place to prepare snacks and meals. The great wagons made moving luggage so much easier. Thanks for all you did to make our stay enjoyable and restful.

This place was beautiful very peaceful. Going inside was so beautiful very clean and organized. Kitchen had everything you need the living room was nice with game to place with the family. The beds, pillows and sheets were supper comfortable. Restrooms were really clean. Highly recommend!!

We had the absolute BEST experience staying at this perfect little cottage near Dripping Springs! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The home is small, but every inch of it is so thoughtfully designed and impeccably decorated — cozy, charming, and truly picture-perfect. It felt like stepping into a dream. The outdoor space was just as incredible — inviting, peaceful, and so comfortable that we honestly didn’t want to leave. We were supposed to be attending a retreat nearby, but we found ourselves wishing we could just stay at the cottage instead! The home was spotless, stocked with everything we needed, and the owner communicated flawlessly, making the whole process easy and welcoming. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already dreaming about coming back. It’s truly a hidden gem!

Absolutely incredible experience! Cindy's guest barn exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning Hill Country views that stretched for miles. The barn itself was beautifully decorated, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. Cindy was the perfect host, incredibly welcoming and attentive to every detail. She made my family feel right at home, which made our stay even more special. The pool was amazing as well, providing a refreshing escape with a view that's simply unbeatable. I decided to splurge on my family visit & this didn’t disappoint. My brother lives only an hour away but we were seeing Willie at the Whitewater Ampitheater (both phenomenal) and I wanted to treat us all. Brownie points all around for my choice that are still going strong! Driving up the little hill into the driveway, we found the house nestled in among the trees with a view to the lake. Clean, stylish, roomy on the inside, my 6’4” brother was delighted with the king size bed, my daughter was delighted with the little balcony off her bedroom so she could read and watch for wildlife and we loved our big bed overlooking the front where the herd of deer gathered waiting for their corn! But the weather was perfect and we spent most of our time gathered outside in the comfy Adirondack chairs or in the screened in porch. The only sad thing about the entire time was how low the water in Canyon Lake has gotten. Pray for rain soon! Thank you, Richard. My brother will be back with his clan!

The property was very nice and the home was cozy and clean. Audrey was very responsive. We had a great time.

I cannot say enough about this place. Perfect size for a small family or a few friends (we represent the former). A rare balance of charming, contemporary, and clean. Plenty of decor details that make you feel at home and immersed in the location all at once. A quick drive to downtown and even closer to the water. The outdoor seating with gazebo was lovely and definitely recommend visiting when the weather is nice enough to enjoy both the Airbnb and surrounding area to the fullest.

We stayed here for a quick overnight trip while visiting our son who’s a TXST student. This was only about 14 minutes from his dorm and so much better than the hotels in the area. The host communicated well and the place was clean and as described. We will definitely stay again.
