Umthi Lodge is a guesthouse on a private nature reserve in South Africa, with views of wild game all around. Situated on the unspoiled natural coastline of the Eastern Cape, with private access to a beautiful beach and lagoon. Sleeps 8 people plus a cot bed. Free unlimited high speed WiFi. The pool is heated all year round, and the house has a Tesla battery and solar system to ensure it always has reliable energy supply. Note: We don't accept bookings of large groups for a weekend.

The Red Door - Kenton on Sea

Be lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean in this cozy, contemporary beach house. The Red Door is private, surrounded by nature, and a 5-to-10-minute walk to blue flag beaches, rivers, and town. Featuring a family-friendly open floor plan, modern furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, and secure parking. Common areas include a fire pit, and outdoor lounge with the perfect hammock to enjoy your book or afternoon snooze. There is even a secluded reading room that doubles as an office.

The bottom floor of the beachouse is a separate unit with private entrance and comprises of 2 bedrooms, bathroom with a bath , basin and toilet and separate shower with a basin and a washing machine. The spacious open plan living room and kitchen has a deck on the beachfront. The property is on the beach with 180 degree seaviews from all rooms. Bedroom 2 has a handbasin. A maximum of 5 poeple is allowed. There is an extra single bed in the livingroom. A lockup garage is available.

Ed's Place

Ed's Place is a charming, self-contained cottage with three en-suite bedrooms each having a king-size bed. The living area includes a comfortable TV lounge area, a large dining room table and a well equipped kitchen. The tasteful furnishings give a feel of rustic farmhouse comfort. The quaint, thatched cottage, perched on a high ridge in the Kaba Game Farm, commands a uniquely spectacular view over rolling grasslands, coastal forest, the vast Alexandria dune field and the ocean beyond.

Bushmans River Roost Cottage

In a 2 hectare garden of the River Roost B&B property we offer a self-catering cottage by the Bushmans River. With 2 en-suite bedrooms and a living area with a pull-out sofa the cottage can accommodate 6 guests. Open your sliding doors and fully experience the African nature that surrounds you while you enjoy the views of the river and the ocean. Down by the river there is a private jetty if you would like to moor your boat or fish. You could also try pottery. We give lessons.

You’ll be charmed by this adorable place to stay. 1 Bedroom self-catering unit on the ground floor, within walking distance of the beach that can accommodate a family of 4, with the kids accommodated on a sleeper couch in the living area. The unit has a kitchen, one bathroom and lounge with the full DSTV bouquet and free WIFI, a pleasant patio with a gas braai. No load shedding interruptions as there is solar power. Walking distance to both the local convenient store and restaurant.

NATURE'S COTTAGE

Natures Cottage with its breathtaking views is situated on the waters edge of the Bushmans River in an echo estate called Natures Landing. The cottage is totally private and fully secure. From the deck and bedroom you have unsurpassed views of the river as confirmed by numerous reviews. Impala, rooi hartebees, bush buck and nyala freely roam the estate. Over 200 bird species have been identified in the estate. The facility offers a full range of DSTV channels and unlimited Wifi.

Alistair House - Homely and close to the sea!

Alistair House is almost on the beach! No driving needed to get to the beach. This is ideal for families that wants to relax on the beach. Long walks are possible with a interesting hiking trail. Boat cruises are a must with a visit to many game reserves. Addo Elephant Park is also in the area.. Boknes and Kenton-on-sea have great beaches too. Alistair House even caters for the babies in the family. Come rest your souls in this homely house close to the sea.

Set in small-town, rural Alexandria, this is the ideal spot for a peaceful getaway. Kenton-on-Sea and its gorgeous beaches are just a 20 minute drive away. Interested in doing the Alexandria Hiking Trail, cycling/driving through the Woody Cape Nature Reserve, or seeing the Alexandria dunefields? Then this is the perfect 'base camp'!

Stand alone, self-catering cottage for two in a quiet area, short stroll to the beach/lagoon, shops and restaurants. Off street parking, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi (Fibre connection) and smart tv. Inverter and water tanks to assist with load shedding. Our housekeeper is available at an additional cost per day. Please do not hire strangers for security reasons. Please note no daily service or laundry facilities.
