What an incredible slice of heaven at Ginny's Place! Spent a few days with my family to get away and reconnect and couldn't ask for a better place! The view of the river is incredible, I spent every morning there with a cup of coffee before anyone got up and soaked in the peace and calm the Chowan River had to offer. The house is beautifully decorated and felt very warm and inviting. My kids had a wonderful time fishing off the dock and my son had his first experience with the provided kayak and that made for beautiful pictures and memories. One thing I should of looked up was the proximity of a Tesla charging station, 45 mins to the closest charger was at least manageable. There is a country store, hardware store and a deli all within 10 minutes and had most of the items we needed. Food Lion is 15 minutes away and so is downtown Edenton. We had dinner at the Herringbone and it was amazing! Their sweet tea and local fish was absolutely delicious. Book this place, you will not regret it

We loved our stay at the cottage over an extended Easter weekend. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us (teenage son, my wife and sister-in-law). We went there to get away, enjoy nature and each other and the mission was 100% accomplished! Jennifer's gardens are beautiful and the birds sang to us each morning and evening and all day. We got a tour of their yard and gardens and saw the chickens whose eggs Jennifer shared with us. Also, we loved the art around the cottage. They have some great paintings hanging in there as well as board games and books. I take day trips to the area often to visit some wildlife areas and it was so nice to be close by and easily visit those areas for sunrise and sunset. We all really enjoyed our stay . Kitchen was well-supplied. We were comfy and happy.

We had a wonderful stay in Edenton on the sound. The hosts are responsive, welcoming and have done a magnificent job of creating a space with just enough to make it comfortable, no clutter or excess that impede the full usage of the space. We hope to get the chance to stay here again!

Location! Location! Location! Perfect location for walking into town to shop, eat, and for sightseeing and exercise. This was our first time to Edenton and I love when I can arrive, park my car and not use it again until I leave. Turn left out of the driveway and walk straight to the water, and pass beautiful porches & for us also spring flowers along the way. Take the trolley tour! There is so much history in this area and the tour was fantastic! Jayme was an excellent communicator. We slept well and had plenty of space. We appreciated the water bottles in the refrigerator. It was a wonderful getaway. Thank you.

Charming house on the water! Great place to stay for kayaking trip with other adults ..many bathrooms, bedrooms, wonderful setting, quirky but charming house. Debbie quickly responded to questions and needs that we had. It was lovely to meet her.

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

Great location and very peaceful. Owners are very nice and quick to respond and suggested awesome recommendations of local businesses and things to do. The house was perfect, very quiet street but close to beach and other activities. We hope to be able to rent this place again when we plan another trip to OBX area. I had a conference in downtown Norfolk and ended up booking Leo's place because the conference hotel was booked up. Thankfully, Leo's place is within walking distance of the ferry, and from there it's a quick ride to downtown Norfolk! Leo was an awesome communicator, and the space was exactly what was shown in the listing. The area was safe and walkable, and there were lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. I will 100% try to book this place again if I'm ever in the area.

Barb was very kind throughout the booking process and provided additional pictures and information to assist with the check-in process. The little apartment was exactly as-pictured! Cute and quiet, right by the Nags Head woods. Public beach access is close by, and the location is incredibly convenient for all that OBX has to offer. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

Loved this place! Gia was super kind and so helpful with everything, I unfortunately had left my wallet after check out time and she was super quick and amazing at helping us get back inside. It was super clean and we had no problems, so many great restaurants around and such a nice easy ride to the beach. Everything was perfect and I highly recommend booking with Gia in the future and I hope i get the opportunity to do it again!

We loved our beach getaway because of our accommodation, it was private and peaceful and had everything we needed! Very clean and furniture done in great taste! We spent a whole week and we didn't want to leave. We especially loved the deck with all the beautiful plants and that we could hear the ocean especially at night! A big plus! We are definitely going back! Jules and Scott, the hosts were so welcoming and kind to us and always helpful. The short walk to the beach was beautiful and so easy! What a gem this place is! The location was everything and more. We had more than enough space. I love how Anthony responded so fast with any questions or concerns. The neighbors were friendly. It was home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is clean and welcoming, and the provided bikes are a fun way to experience the neighborhood. We came to relax and this was the perfect area for that! Jessica is very communicative and helpful if you need anything. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet beach getaway.
