The Nook at Newalls- luxury shepherd’s hut

Nestled in the hills 5 minutes outside Kendal, the hut sits in its own private meadow, enjoying far reaching views of the fells. Choose to hunker down in the hut with a book, play board games and unplug from the rest of the world or use it as a base to explore Kendal and the beautiful Lake District National Park. Step inside and you'll find a snug and cosy retreat with King sized bed, log burner and underfloor heating. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the patio and the private fire pit area.

Located in a quiet cul du sac in the historic market town of Kendal with convenient access to the M6, Lake District & Yorkshire dales. The cosy cabin suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is a 20min walk to town centre along the scenic River Kent or a 4 minute walk to the fantastic Romney’s pub with its fabulous food & fine ales. There is parking available & a private outside decking area. Don’t want to walk ? We are a 30sec walk to the bus stop 2 minutes from the property.

Lyth Valley View at Broom Bank

Lyth Valley View is a newly refurbished annexe with its own entrance and private patio/garden area overlooking the picturesque Lyth Valley. This eco-friendly Brigsteer self-catering cottage is adjoined to the Owners property, yet it benefits from a private and secluded patio area with views of the Lyth Valley. It comprises a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, dining area & a living area with a log burner and a large glass sliding door that overlooks the slate-paved patio and the valley.

The Mount - Kendal

The Mount is a newly refurbished stylish apartment that is part of No 10 Mount Pleasant, a former private girls finishing school. Mount Pleasant and The Mount building is over 200 years old. Situated in Kendal town centre (there's a two minute walk down the hill into town) the Mount is surrounded by local greens and parkland and to the west of the building boasts a beautiful golf course, fell and woodland for keen walkers. Within 100 meters there is a welcoming traditional drinking pub.

Tahn is the smallest of our luxury camping pods, with it's own kitchen and shower room, it sleeps two adults with a travel cot available for one infant. An ideal woodland base for lovers of the great outdoors Just 4 miles south of Kendal, on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and on the Bay Cycleway. Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and other amenities are close by. Local walks and easy access by car to the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the Silverdale and Arnside AONB.

Apple House is a quiet retreat where you can completely unwind. It has beautiful views to the wildlife garden and pond, kitchen garden and the hills beyond. Standing in the gardens of Hylands, a fine Arts and Crafts House, to the West of Kendal. It is decorated using quality local materials and skills of local crafts people. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops, cafes and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub 'The Rifleman's Arms'.

Scenic walks over limestone Scars from the doorstep. Comfortable double bed, single bunk above with limited head space. Kendal is an attractive market town with an eclectic range of shops, cafes, restaurants. There is a designated parking space for one vehicle beside the hut Bikes can be secured in the log shelter.

No.26 is a traditional cottage situated on Greenside, which is a beautiful picturesque area of Kendal. The cottage overlooks the village green and consists of a cosy sitting room with log burner, kitchen/dining room, and WC on ground floor. The first floor accommodates a beautifully decorated double bedroom and spacious bathroom. The property benefits from an exterior porch and utility room which provides secure storage space for boots, bikes or golf clubs.
