The hot tub was fantastic and the cottage is very well-equipped, clean and tidy and spacious. It was nice having the donkeys as neighbours and the location is peaceful and a beautiful part of the country.

Suzanne and Mark were very friendly, gave us a small booklet containing all the local go to's. Being greeted by their 2 dogs at the gates was always a warm welcoming. The welcome package was a very thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Abbey Dore. The house was spacious, brilliant kitchen and dining room area with two lovely living rooms. It had everything we needed, and we absolutely loved the swimming pool and gym. Bedrooms were lovely and beds were comfy. Emma and Daniel were so responsive to any questions we had. Beautiful surroundings, Gwatkin Red Cow was a brilliant recommendation- the roast was fab! We loved our stay and would absolutely consider coming back again.

This was our third stay at Lois’s place, albeit the first in the eco house, as opposed to the barn. The house was both comfortable and quirky, qualities we have come to expect from our charming and artistic hosts. Unusual pictures, books, design features - one is entertained at every turn, while the leafy surroundings (the beautiful garden and driveway as well as Redland Green itself) make it all worthwhile. Lois or her husband Paul are always on hand to help you with any questions and have a chat with you at the same time. We heartily recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for something a bit different and off the beaten track yet within walking distance of decent shops, cafés and restaurants.

An unforgettable stay for a special occasion! We booked this house for my sisters 40th Birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint! About a 20-minute drive from Cardiff which was convenient when venturing out for food and drinks (I would advise pre booking travel as we got stung on return taxis) The check-in was very friendly and informative. The host made sure we had all the details we needed, and the process was smooth and hassle-free. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was just as described in the listing with plenty of space and thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. Everything you could need was provided, including a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and toiletries. The place had all the essentials, and it was clear the host put a lot of care into making sure everything was available. Little touches really made it a home from home, there is everything you could possibly need available. USB ports on the plug sockets really useful. Everything was clean and the house is really spacious. Secure off road parking really great, we gave a large vehicle and it easily fitted on the drive. Will definitely be back when we visit again if the property is available.

What an amazing place Natasha has here! Located in a small village with beautiful surroundings and peaceful at night, so easily can sleep well. The place had everything that is needed, was lucky to have the sunny weather so could relax in the garden when the sun was blazing! There’s a big bath with jets in the en-suite from the main bedroom, words can’t describe how perfect that bath was! If the weather is bad, there is plenty of entertainment inside the place with the multiple TV rooms which works really well, there are also books to read too. There aren’t many places to eat out around the area, however supermarkets are close by and the kitchen here is brilliant! All the essentials plus more to cook delicious homemade dishes! Natasha was helpful during our stay and made sure everything was going according to our plans Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the areas as there’s so much scenery there or even just to have a small break, this place is fantastic!

The house was perfect for our family weekend away. It's bigger than it looks in the photos with lovely high ceilings. Wonderful to have a downstairs loo, bathroom on the middle floor and ensuite for the main bedroom on the top floor. Essential with 3 teenagers in tow! Also excellent TV and WiFi. The beds were extremely comfortable and all rooms a good size. The house was lovely and warm. Great location with a Lidl nearby and easy access to lovely walks via the Heads of the Valleys road. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. Recommend :)

This place is beautiful. The decor is outstanding and extremely clean. The photos don’t do it justice. Thank you so much for the lovely welcome pack. So thoughtful. We visit Ebbw Vale a lot and I hope we will Be able to stay again. I was very sad to leave. Thank you so much for being great hosts 😊

Beautiful accommodation, clean and fresh, very comfortable beds and quality furnishings. The garden was very private and lovely to be in, the hot tub was fabulous! Super well equipped kitchen, we were there celebrating a big birthday and Bill had decorated with balloons for us. If peace and relaxation is your goal then it’s right here! Top tip, just a 20 min drive is Pughs Kitchen Garden, what a gem for food and a browse!
