Chris was helpful all the way and great with communication. The house has a lovely view overlooking the seafront. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the terrace watching ships sailing past. The kitchen was well stocked with basic equipment and supplies, despite a bit tired and may benefit a deep clean. The rest of the house was in good condition overall. We would be happy to recommend this property.

This is such a great place I almost don’t want to write such a glowing review as it means we’ll end up with less dates to choose from for our return visit 🤣. Such a beautiful house, the photos don’t do it justice and Kate and Jonathan were wonderful hosts. The beach is right on your doorstep, it was perfect for morning walks with the dog, and lazy afternoons watching the sea merge into the sky from the patio seating.

4 couples, had a great weekend at Eider Cottage. Only one parking place allocated, but plenty of visitor places nearby. The house was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We kicked off our shoes and completely relaxed. Being directly on the lake was wonderful and we enjoyed using the Kayaks to explore the other side. Saw many varieties of birds. The Spa is a short walk away. We booked the day before, and had a lovely time using the 3 pools. We did a lot of walking around the beautiful lakes and 2 of us brought their bikes. The on site Property Managers, Liam & Pete were on hand and had excellent communications. We would highly recommend Eider Cottage and hope to return to Lower Mill Estate in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay as a group of friends celebrating some big birthdays. The house was stunning and spotless. We had great fun on the lake each day and enjoyed some lovely walks and meals out at local restaurants. Beautiful scenery from the decking, bedrooms and hot tub! James was very communicative and helpful and there were some lovely birthday surprises left for us. A really special break, we’ll definitely be back.

The perfect location to enjoy some peace and tranquility in the countryside. The house also benefits from being right on the lake with a private jetty where you can use all the kayaks and paddle-boards provided. In the surrounding areas there are some beautiful walks where you can explore the nearby areas. The local village in South Cerney is within walking distance which has some convenience stores. It is also very close to drive to some bigger supermarkets for anything else needed. Inside the house, everything is pristine and decor is to a very high standard. The kitchen and dining area was a great open space with room for all of us to be in without feeling cramped. We found a lovely welcome basket included by the hosts and there are all the amenities you would need in the kitchen. The layout of the house was perfect and the ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms was great, even for a group of girls! Overall we had a fabulous trip and the hosts were always on hand to provide recommendations.

This house is lovely and was perfect for a short stay for us 4 adults. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped and homely. An easy walk into the centre of town made for a very pleasant evening stroll along the canal.

Great place, and one of the most welcoming host I’ve ever encountered. Everything just perfect: 10 minutes walk from centre, very clean, well equipped kitchen, large dining room etc. I’d warmly recommend to anyone would want to spend some quality time in Cowes.

This is our second time staying at Amanda's beautiful cottage and we will continue to come back as long as she'll have us. It's spacious, comfortable, is in a great location, and has plenty of parking nearby. Everything is walkable from her place and it is super easy to get to. There are sights, a grocery, and plenty of shopping and dining nearby. As for the place, the kitchen is perfectly appointed, beds are very comfortable and Amanda was even nice enough to leave us a welcome gift in the refrigerator! Thank you! Communication is perfect every step of the way and the unit is super easy to get into. We love coming to Arundel and will be back! Thank you for another amazing stay, Amanda. Hope to see you / the cottage next year.

A great place to come and stay easy to find really good.Carol was a amazing host very welcoming from start to finish and very helpful though out are stay. Very comfy beds loads of choices for breakfast. Will definitely stay again in the future.

David’s cottage was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. He was welcoming and approachable, checking that everything was as we wanted, and also leaving us a lovely bottle of wine. The cottage was warm and comfortable with a pretty Christmas tree greeting us.

We had a lovely stay at Laura’s beautiful house. It was charming and had all the amenities we needed in the kitchen. Very clean, comfortable and cozy! My kids loved all the books around the house. It’s a great location to visit bath and the cotswolds. Highly recommended!

A lovely place to stay. Nathalie was really friendly and welcoming. This cottage was like home from home, exactly as described. My kids loved the trampoline and Louis the dog.

Pauls place is in a great location and taking advantage of the parking permit that's included, is a must! The space is warm and inviting and the house is the perfect layout for socialising. We stayed for my mums birthday and it was a great space for relaxing. Walk in to town is a matter of minutes.

The Lodge is a peaceful place to stay and Alison was a great host. The space was clean and had everything I needed, yet still felt like a home. The view out to the garden, river and countryside beyond was wonderful to come back to after being at a busy work event all day. Alison was friendly and helpful when I had questions, but left me to it otherwise. A great place to I stay and I would stay here again if I'm in the area in the future.

Beautiful place to stay, extremely well kitted out and felt right at home. The surroundings are very peaceful and we enjoyed a lovely walk across fields to the local pub. Would highly recommend, Gary and Shona are great hosts and have clearly thought of everything - communication was always really quick too. We hope to return again in the future.

We enjoyed a lovely few nights stay in Surrey. The room was lovely and clean, with enough amenities for our short stay. It was lovely meeting Alex’s friendly cats too! The area is absolutely beautiful, we had no issue getting to the airbnb after a day in Thorpe Park, and easily managed a few walks from the island, and a day trip into London. The local pubs were great too. We particularly liked The Minnow! One thing to note, as mentioned in other reviews, the wifi is really bad. Only one evening out of three were we able to access social media. Thankfully this wasn’t a huge issue for us, as we were getting back late and very tired, but worth noting if you need internet access. Otherwise, we had a fantastically peaceful escape and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!
