Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. Harriet’s House is in the small crofting township of Kyles, on the west coast of North Uist. It's yards from a vast, expansive beach on the island's Atlantic coastline. An ideal location for access to North Uist's beautiful beaches, trout filled lochs, moorland, hills, machair wildlife habitats, and a host of prehistoric sites. It's a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal at Lochmaddy, and a mile from the excellent, well stocked shop in Bayhead. The shop has a 24/hr petrol and diesel pumps.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.
