We adored our stay at Acre Lodge! You can tell the amount of care and quality that has gone into the lodge, and it also shows in the hospitality that Janet and Graham provide. The nature surrounding the lodge is lovely, as is walking around the village, and enjoying the night sky from the well set-up backyard. Janet and Graham were responsive and kind — when we needed support with fixing something, they were immediately attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth! We were grateful and it lent to an incredible, relaxing weekend in the Cotswolds. Looking forward to returning in the future!

A peaceful countryside stay with amazing views and lovely animals — the horses and llamas made it extra special! The house was cozy and clean, and the Jerry was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return

Beautiful place. Amazing kitchen dining area with view out onto the garden through full length French doors. Perfect for a mini family reunion. Loved the brick paint job in the smaller bedroom and other little arty touches here & there.

Was such a beautiful home for a lovely weekend with my girls very clean and comfy and the little touches was adorable especially the welcome treat and the flip flops for hut tub. Easy to communicate with and just a lovely and cosy home. Would highly recommend this place 👌

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, the place is very comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. Even found a fan to keep us cool as it was one of the hottest days yet this year! The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have a seating area outside too. Everything was well organised and any queries we had were answered quickly.

The cottage is peaceful and private, as well as being in a beautiful location. Alastair and Vicky are excellent hosts and were most responsive to my requests. Highly recommended.

A really lovely hideaway for a few days. Fully equipped with everything we needed plus a fantastically huge telly and surround sound! Great location with excellent pub across the road and some good walks on the doorstep. Pete and Rachel were welcoming and very helpful and we throughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Every comfort was taken care of - we loved it and can’t wait to return. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and clean. The gardens are lovely. It was a perfect base to explore Oxford with the bus stop conveniently close. Our hosts had given us all the local info and made us so welcome. Roomy, art-filled flat on a quiet, family-friendly street in Kensal Green. Great kitchen with quality pots and pans, super well stocked for cooking. Comfy upstairs kids’ room and three bathrooms (upstairs, hall, and en suite) made for an easy, relaxed stay. Clean, with a good shower and thoughtful touches. Great coffee table books and fun art throughout. Easy walk to markets, a sweet local library, playgrounds nearby, and the Kensal Green tube (7 mins). About a 20-min walk to Queen’s Park and a quick bus to Portobello/Notting Hill. Quentin was warm and helpful, met us on arrival, stocked basics like eggs, bread, and cereal, and shared great local tips including where to walk, eat, and how to get to Heathrow. He reached out during our stay. Flexible with luggage drop-off, though we didn’t need it. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend!

Lovely, clean well equipped accommodation. Well positioned in a pretty village with easy access to the surrounding Cotswold & Oxfordshire countryside. Terry & Elaine were very gracious hosts and it was lovely to share the garden with them.

Maya the host was great with communication. Was very helpful leading up to the stay. The added touch of some small snacks was surprising and really nice too

Perfect place to spend our free time days in London. We arrived on an early flight so being able to store bags & return for a 1pm check in was perfect. The tube station is close by making it easy to get around. The area was quiet and the apartment had everything we needed included wall plug adapters. Everything has been thought of and was appreciated as we are travelling light. The washing machine & dryer was well needed and a bonus. Would highly recommend.

Great location ideal to get the bus to Oxford or walk along the Thames. Bus service to Oxford was reliable and frequent with the bus stop just outside the farm. Great pubs nearby good food and drink within walking distance. 20min drive to The Farmers Dog. Sue was very friendly and helpful with great local knowledge and Teddy the cat was a highlight for us. Lovely and quiet, great getaway with a comfy bed. Would recommend and stay again. We loved our stay. Thanks Sue x
