Most certainly a vintage place, including the appliances like the oven and the stove (but slightly more modern when it came to things like air conditioning), very 70s. A spacious lounge room and outdoor furniture was very comfortable on a nice warm day.

A unique experience , Scott’s place is a wonderful peaceful getaway , surrounded by trees within a very short stroll to the beach . The floor to ceiling windows really make you feel like your emersed in the natural environment . The contemporary design , well stocked kitchen and facilities in general make for a very comfortable stay . The fabulous beach and easy reach of the Freycinet peninsula make this an ideal place to explore Tasmania’s incredible east coast . Watch the sunrise over the freycinet peaks then go for a morning dip , it doesn’t get much better .

Beautiful place with so many details to make you feel right at home. Great local breakkie including farm eggs, local bacon, organic granola, biscuits, milk, spreads, coffee tea and a bottle of wine with chocolates. I love when hosts go the extra mile to make your stay special. Beds very comfy, each room had its own private ensuite bathroom. Surroundings are very peaceful. Only con is that the place has no internet reception. Host advised this in advance, but is worth noting. Great stay!

Fantastic and well laid out property with plenty of space and in an amazing location. Really enjoyed having coffees and breakfast on the verandah. Great beach access in a quiet and peaceful location with plenty of wildlife around. Darren our host was super responsive, friendly and helpful. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

We had a lovely stay, such a quiet and quaint spot. Very close to beaches and attractions but feels like an escape. Would highly recommend and we'll be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Bungalow, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Even with the train as close as it was, we never felt bothered by it. The view is outstanding and sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine was bliss. Also, the bed was incredibly comfortable! We particularly liked the supplied shampoo and conditioner, normally I don't pay attention to that but it smelled fantastic, we looked into buying the same one for home. Thanks for a perfect stay. (We also got to pat a bunch of golden retrievers, which was a total plus!)

What a beautiful home and location. Private yet close to local amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Iluka Tree House. The home is surrounded with gorgeous trees and a lush garden. The property was extremely clean and furnished beautifully. We would highly recommend a stay in this gorgeous house!

Fantastic little get away spot. This place was peaceful and very cosy place to stay. Mel was a great host, very responsive and provided eveything we needed. Shops and restaurants were only 10 minutes away so a great location.

Dongara was only meant to be a stop in our roadtrip to Exmouth and after staying at this amazing place we are already planning our next visit! Jane and Rob are the loveliest people you will ever meet. They gave us the warmest welcome from the moment we arrived along with the rest of the family, Marley and Jelly! They gave us great tips about where to go and what to do in Dongara but enjoying a cup of tea and a good book in their backyard is a suggestion that we add! Bonus: You will likely be joined by Jelly who will kindly ask for petties!😊 A delicious breakfast awaits for you the next day with bread from the local bakery among other things. The house is very clean and has all the necessities that you might need for your stay! Thank you for the fantastic hospitality Jane and Rob! We cannot wait to be back!

Would give this place 6/5 stars if I could. Absolutely beautiful spot, they’ve done so well with it! The bed was literally like a dream - so cosy. The bath is stunning. Loved the whole place - didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend!

My recent stay at the tiny house at Paradise at Prout was exactly the refreshing country getaway I needed. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and the stunning natural surroundings. The tiny house itself is a marvel of efficient design, offering everything you need in a cozy and stylish package. It was immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The real highlights, however, were the outdoor amenities. Evenings spent by the crackling fire pit, under a blanket of stars, were truly magical. And the BBQ setup was perfect for enjoying delicious meals in the fresh air.

The accommodation and surrounding gardens are beautiful, a supremely impressive property all round. Very private, heaps of outdoor space with lots of thoughtful and varied spots to relax in and soak up the serenity. The indoors were equally impressive, very well designed and beautifully appointed. Not a single negative to my stay, the opposite in fact, my expectations comfortably exceeded. It was lovely to meet my hosts Georgie and Andrew and I really appreciated, and thoroughly enjoyed, the generous tour of the property with Andrew. The work you guys have done on the property is extremely impressive. Can’t recommend the place enough. Thanks guys! I’ll be back!! Davy

We enjoyed 2 nights at Tumbi Orchard for our Babymoon (ahead of baby #2). We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing spot to catch up on sleep and generally feel very relaxed. Fiona and Dean have impeccable taste and spared no expense on quality furnishings, down to their plates and cutlery matching the lux colour scheme. The bath overlooking greenery was delightful. The bed very comfy. And the fire heater a nice option for that romantic touch. Only a short drive from The Entrance, Long Jetty and lots of great restaurant options - definitely check out Carne & Cucina. Fiona and Dean responded within minutes but managed to stay out of our way to give us full privacy. Would stay again and highly recommend. Thanks for having us!

We had a lovely time staying at Jackie and Dale's place. The place was cosy and peaceful. The outdoor bath was great on a cold night, and the bed was super comfy. The place had lots of great amenities. It was a wonderful place to stay for a couple of nights while we explored the area. Thanks for having us!

I had a lovely time at Echo's tiny house in the forest. Great location, clean and quaintly decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and very usable. The only draw-back was that there was no direct light above the sink, making it a bit dark for washing dishes after sundown. There is a great collection of books and board games to peruse through. This is the first place I've stayed at that had a compost toilet, it was easy to use and no smells. Shower was hot with good pressure. Overall I would recommend this to family and friends.

Lisa’s place was exactly as it was in the pictures; beautiful from top to bottom. Communication was amazing and we had no issues finding anything as it was all in the instructions. The place itself is so well taken care of; it was clean, beautifully decorated, the amenities were great, and the extra little things like the gaming console and coffee machine made being in the place even more beautiful. Lisa’s recommendations came in handy, but once we’d gotten settled we opted to stay in for dinner both nights because we didn’t want to leave the home. It was a delightful stay, and we will definitely be back. Thank you Lisa and crew for an amazing weekend getaway.

Our stay at Madei’s property was perfect. The tiny home is located at the front of the 5 acre property and we were immediately greeted by their dog Basalm who was very friendly and playful throughout our entire stay. We played fetch with her and another of their puppies, Tottie, and they made the stay so much fun. The home itself is quaint, accommodating and warm - the exterior and outside deck are both rustic and pleasant and inside the home it is extremely clean, contemporary and comfortable. Overall our stay here was wonderful, very relaxing, fun and enjoyable. Madei and her partner are both fantastic hosts.

This place was exceptional. Delightful architecture with a gorgeous vista - we just loved watching clouds drift over the beautiful green hinterland from the huge deck, not a soul around. We felt like we were in our own beautiful little world that we were very reluctant to leave. Waking up in the mist and the birdsong was such a balm for the soul. We also loved jumping in the great bathtub watching the sunset over rolling green hills, and the kids loved setting a fire in the fire pit. The festoon lights on the deck, the lovely cushions and beds, the great little blue tooth sound system, the excellent coffee machine - the hosts have thought of everything. We look forward to coming back.

My wife and I had an amazing weekend getaway. Lovely peaceful setting, with absolute privacy. we enjoyed getting out bushwalking during the day, and retreating for the evenings in the hot tub under the stars, with the firepit providing ambience. Fabulous host - checked in with us to ensure everything was ok, and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable & relaxing 10 day stay, which was a perfect match for my friend's healing during her cancer journey. The house is stylish, well equipped, with excellent views- a great veranda to take in the amazing landscape. Very enjoyable with a glass of wine/bubblies. Ideal for bird lovers, as there are plenty of Wrens, Finches and parrots calling the property home. Good star gazing on a clear night, very quiet and serene, great sunrise as well. Large comfortable bed with great views, perfect with soothing music... Highly recommendable place to unwind, relax and invigorate in a beautiful, peaceful setting.
