Staying here is like a visiting your Mamaw's house. It's simple, old fashioned decor is family friendly. The big front porch is a perfect place to sit with your coffee and watch the birds and butterflies, which are plentiful. Located adjacent to the Davy Crockett National Forest, we also have many deer and other critters in the woods behind the house. There are no visible neighbors, access is by a dirt road. Star gazing here is amazing! It's also only 30 minutes to either Crockett or Lufkin.

Sip your favorite beverage rocking on the enormous porch while your steaks are cooking on the grill. At night you can gather around the lower fire pit and stargaze. It is unlikely you will encounter anyone unless you venture out for walk down to one of the neighboring farms. The cottage has super high speed internet. Make video calls without buffering.

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This is a 1950’s home that has been completely renovated. 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. This was my best friend’s childhood home and we bought it after her Mom died. The house sits on a little over an acre of land, a big beautiful oak tree provides lots of shade in the front.
