Offers 3 private Bedrooms with Queen beds and 1 bedroom with bunk bed, all bedrooms have live stream tv and smart tv for movie time. Your inclusive stay with everything you would have at home, kitchen essentials, washer with laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and Keurig coffee, tea, creamer and fully stocked kitchen. A full bath features essentials including a hair dryer. The full kitchen includes coffee & breakfast items. A washer & dryer with detergent and dryer sheets are included.

The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Come and see why this is OUR happy place, and it could quickly become your happy place.
