Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Upea jokinäköala omalta terassilta. Pysäköintitilaa runsaasti. Mökki kehdessa kerroksessa, alakerrassa keittiö, olohuone, makuualkovi, kylpyhuone ja sauna. Yläkerrassa makuuhuone Very nice view to river Ounas. Parking your car near cottage is possible. There are kitchen, living room, alcove, bathroom and sauna in downstairs of the cabin. Upstairs there is bedroom. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santa's village is about 50 kilometers so I recommend to rent a car. there is no public transportation

This unique new build lodge is located only 15- minute drive from Rovaniemi city center. Lodge has two single beds and one queen sized bed. It comes with modern and equipped kitchen, bathroom and a private sauna. What makes our lodge unique is private northern lights viewing point with own fireplace. We have renovated the cottage in summer and fall 2019&2022 for your better use. Here you can feel the Finnish cottage culture and enjoy the peace of nature and silence.
