Wisconsin: eco lodge

We had a very pleasant stay with Jill and Steve. We were welcomed and treated like family. They made great suggestions of where to eat in the area and served a pleasant continental breakfast. We had a relaxing paddle on their beautiful lake, in their kayaks. It’s a unique, one of a kind North woods experience, with hosts that proved to be excellent conversationalists. We enjoyed the lake view and went to bed listening to the call of the loons. We will return next time we’re in the area.

This is a fantastic location overlooking the lake. My family and I loved the perk of an on-site playground, and having the patio space outside your room is a great touch!

I can’t think of a better place to unplug and immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Jill and Steve (The best hosts you’ll ever find) were so friendly and welcoming, the Inn is stunning and transports you back to a different time, while still having everything one needs during these modern times. Do yourself a favor, and book a stay here, and when you stay once, you will will already be booking your return!

I am unbelievably overwhelmed by this location! A hidden gem tucked away on Rice Lake. Perfect views, kind staff , and accommodations to individuals traveling with pets. Clean, warm and cozy. Perfect winter hideaway or summer escape. I enjoyed every minute of my stay .

This is such a beautiful place, right on the water and gorgeous views. The rooms are fantastic and clean and all you could ask for!

We made a last minute reservation here and it was everything we needed - a place to relax and clear our heads. The rooms all walk right onto a patio overlooking the lake with a gorgeous view! A very peaceful stay - and the scones in the morning were amazing! Will definitely be back!
