Wind Cave 17 mi. Adjacent to the Mickelson Trail and minutes from hundreds of miles of Black Hills National Forest trails. Wildlife is abundant in the Southern Hills, including deer, turkeys and elk. Or just sit back and relax as you watch the horses graze in the pasture or take in the endless night sky.

The Sage - Hinterwood Inn & Cabins

The Sage is part of Hinterwood Inn and Cabins and sleeps up to 4 people. It has one bedroom with a king bed, a daybed/trundle (two twin mattresses) in the living room. It has a full kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, a regular coffee pot, dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. It includes one full, spacious bathroom with a shower (no tub). It's approximately 500 sq. feet. Enjoy the private fire pit area, the gas grill outside, and the expansive outdoor spaces on the property.

Off grid yurt in the pines, with great view of mystic miner and Terry peak above, on mile 100 of beautiful Mickelson trail. Get away to nature (with style and a unique stay)....goulay. not for non-outdoorsy as there is only a half bathroom outhouse, no running water (you get to port it in, great spring pump at nearby Englewood trail-head on Mickelson and running stream for a dip at bottom of hill), no electricity, and a great little wood stove. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster only does NOT have a full kitchen. Coffee and creamer kit provided. Charcoal grill outside, you bring your own supplies. Come enjoy the small cabin feel in the middle of The Black Hills without breaking the bank! Little to NO internet but the store has internet you can use!
