A vintage shepherd's hut nestling in the heart of the Somerset levels, which has been sympathetically restored outside and modernised inside. Sleep under the stars (cloud cover providing!) and wake to a chorus of bird song. During the day, you could cycle or birdwatch on the Levels; fish; hit the beach (just 5 miles away); visit Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar Gorge; or outlet shop at Clarke’s Village. Finish the day with a BBQ, or sitting around the fire pit or in the hot tub as the sun goes down.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. The Snug at Mill Barn - rural retreat

Tucked away in a peaceful location, this new open plan conversion was finished in September 2019. Completed to a high standard, this cosy space provides an idyllic hideaway. Stockland and Steart Marshes can be accessed immediately opposite the Snug and the coast is five minutes drive away. Ideal for country walks, cycling and bird watching. A log burner is the focal point of the lounge/living area as well as exposed wooden beams and stonework. Wifi, Smart TV and all you will need for a memorable get away.
