This place was amazing! Had a very fun girls trip away with 13 family/friends. The place was so spacious, that only 3 of us had to share a room. We all had our own beds! It is a massive house, with many bathrooms. The swim spa hot tub was huge! The windows in the kitchen had a perfect view of the ski hill & the village was only a 5 min drive away. Collingwood shopping was only a 10 min drive. Would absolutely stay here again- peaceful & serene.

Our stay at Tuan’s place was as expected! It was great having so many things to do all in one place. The hot tub and pool table were a huge hit for our group! Tuan and his family were very responsive, which made our check in and check out very easy. The only constructive feedback is the basement could be cleaned more thoroughly, and information on the shuttle bus would have been helpful. We ended up walking to the village for dinner on Saturday night, which was about a 20 minute walk. Overall, Happy Home was the perfect place to stay for our friend’s getaway weekend!

We had a lovely stay, everything was great. Kitchen was well equipped. Only issue is that there were no towels at all. Which was communicated but we were expecting at least a kitchen rag or hand towels in the washroom.

Took my family away for an extended weekend and ended up choosing Jer’s place to stay. The kids enjoyed all of the things to do: pool table, games, fooseball, sauna and the hot tub. The weather didn’t cooperate as we would have hoped but we still had lots to keep us entertained while there. Cool set up from the new construction addition to the old farmhouse. Kitchen was loaded with anything you would need to prepare a meal and the space was clean and tidy. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your space Jer, we all had a blast!

Our family had a great weekend. Hosts really took effort to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. And sent someone to clean the hot tub even though it was Easter weekend. The house was spacious and was a great space to spend time with family.

We went there for 2 days to unwind , a very lowkey getaway just to relax. The place was cozy & well equipped. so much attention was invested by Rebecca to provide all the necessities there. Kitchen was small but super nice & well equipped. Washroom was nice with a glass Stand up shower stall Featuring Rain Shower. The Sink was outside with a nice lighted Vanity mirror. Hot tub was very nic & there was a gas fireplace there too which we did not use. Cooler things were a personalized welcome message for us & also a dog bed that was provided for our dog. The only minor negative was the privacy issue as it was the guesthouse which felt like it was sitting on the middle of everything. so If the curtains were open, the lights of the owners cars were always on our eyes whenever we were ion the couch. and that Van was always on the move. Will definitely stay there again whenever we decide t0o come back to Horseshoe Valley.

Armand and Katherine are super hosts! Their place is so beautiful and surrounded by nature. If you need a place to relax and want to experience peace and solitude, I highly recommend Cardinals Roost :) Thank you very much for our amazing stay there, we will definitely come back again.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at Alex's place! From the very beginning, Alex was responsive, accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to Natalie, who was incredibly attentive and friendly. She ensured that everything was in perfect working order and even went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. I highly recommend Alex's place to anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable Airbnb experience. We would love to come back!

Firstly, this home was the nicest vacation home my family and I have EVER stayed at. It was very spacious, luxurious finishes throughout , it fit my family of 7 very well. The rooms are all good sizes. There are 4 rooms with beds in them, an office on the main floor that we put a crib in for the baby and an additional room in the basement which could be used as a bedroom if you bring a blowup mattress. The backyard is huge, the playground set was a great treat for my kids, however the hot tub did not seem like it was operable. Mina our host was absolutely AMAZING! Her response time to any of our enquires was very prompt, she made sure we truly enjoyed our stay. We would have loved if the home had blackout curtains as the rooms get quite bright in the morning when the sun comes up, but it wasn't the end of the world. All in all, it was an AMAZING STAY! Definitely recommended!!

We came for the long weekend (15 of us) and had a blast. We loved the surrounding areas and went for a long walk, the trees, the views , the colours 💕💕💕. The had clear instructions and sticky notes everywhere and there was no confusion. We stayed up for the campfire late, used the hot tub, grilled our meat, and had the time of our lives. Even though we just stayed for one night it felt really long. We are grateful for Todd and Karen and their amazing place with beautiful interior details. Will recommend this place.

Our stay at the cottage was exactly what we were looking and hoping for. It had everything we needed and even some things we didn't realize we needed (love the smiley-face pancake pan). Katrina was very helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend and would definitely be a place we would re-book!

Loved this cabin in the woods. Really close to so many awesome hikes and the hot tub at the end of the day was very luxurious. Everything was perfect. Jacqueline is an exceptionally attentive host with beautiful design sense that shines in every corner of the cabin. Would love to return again to explore more of the Bruce Trail and surrounding towns.

We spent our mini moon at Elizabeth and Craig’s place and it was exactly what we needed. Super cozy, clean, relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake and a cozy jacuzzi. The hosts are super friendly and were very accommodating during our stay. A special mention goes out to their dog Honey who was also extremely welcoming and friendly! I highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Sochet’s place! It’s absolutely stunning, well taken care of, and easy to find. Sochet is also very communicable. I would be weary when travelling in the winter and ensure your vehicle is well equipped to handle the conditions - we have a crossover SUV that struggled to get up the steep, narrow driveway due to ice. The parking space is also very tight this time of year, and we couldn’t fit more than two vehicles. Just a word of caution :)

“Hostess with the mostest” is an understatement for Sandra. When she says all you need to bring is your overnight bag and groceries, she means it! Her and Dejay are lovely people, offering an incredible getaway. The attention to detail and commitment to their guests is unmatched. 10/10 would recommend and return!

It was great stay, peaceful and Shaolin had it all setup very well, everything we needed to we had something for it. We went at a time when the lake was frozen but would definitely like to revisit again in summer.
