Lovely cosy clean house, host communicated check in instructions early and it was easy to follow instructions. Coffee pods for coffee machine provided was a nice touch.

My kelpie and I stayed 4 nights and thoroughly loved every minute of it. Proximity to Hopkins River couldn't be better, with a walk through to the Blue Hole and the ocean beyond. Ellen's property is wonderfully comfortable, crispy clean throughout, bright and cheery with many indoor plants creating a peaceful ambience. Absolutely wonderful and perfect, all of it. We had a very peaceful stay in Kate’s place The property was as described and catered well for our group of seven .. having four good sized double bedrooms and all of equal size. The place was charming and had a lovely cozy rustic feel especially with the log burner! We had the pleasure of seeing kangaroos in the field at back of property! This was a bonus! Finally the customer service we received from Kate was outstanding!!

A really lovely stay in a beautiful home in very peaceful and quiet surroundings. We all really enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer!!! Would happily go back and we will certainly recommend this stay to anyone interested. Thanks Jai 😊

Beautiful place. 6 of us stayed there. Only 1 bathroom and toilet was not ideal but we knew that and was manageable. Everything was just lovely, clean and spacious. Amazing location close to train station and many pubs. We were there for an event and the venue was across the road. So convenient. Thanks for the box of choccies and option for early check in and giving us and extra hour to check out after recovering from the night before. Very highly recommended.

We had the most wonderful weekend away at Sommerhus to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly a special stay. The house is absolutely stunning, with a calming and relaxing interior that made us feel at home the moment we walked in. The large enclosed garden was perfect for the kids and our dog to run around and play safely, and we all loved the beautiful decked area—ideal for family dinners in the evening and peaceful early morning coffees. The space inside and out was fantastic, allowing us all to unwind and enjoy quality time together. The location is great too—just a 2-3 minute drive or a lovely 20-minute walk into town, making it easy to explore while still enjoying a peaceful retreat. Andrea was a fantastic host—so thoughtful and responsive. She even surprised me with some lovely birthday bunting, which was such a sweet touch! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate, and we’d love to return. Highly recommend Sommerhus for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

The apartment we booked was not cleaned so Jayde got us another better apartment to stay. Responsive and check in was easy.

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay at Glen View as a stopover during our Melbourne to Adelaide journey on the Great Ocean Road. Johanna is a truly beautiful section of the GOR where rolling green hills and farmlands meet the ocean. The cottage is delightfully laid out and well provisioned, with quality bedding and toiletries, a lovely fire-place and a shed full of wood (and reverse cycle a/c for the summer months and the impatient!) A visit to the chicken shed to collect farm fresh eggs and the orchard for some lemons was a nice treat for us suburbanites! The kitchen is fully functional with pretty much all equipment you could need, including a coffee machine. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!!

Had really nice stay at Johanna Seaside Cottages 'Farm House', was the perfect country escape we were looking for and the kids loved collecting fresh laid eggs in the morning and having access to an indoor heated pool. Only minor complaint was not being able to connect to the internet Friday evening and not being able contact our host after 5pm. That said, the property caretake (Ben) was super helpful when he checked in the next day. Would definitely recommend if looking for a country escape along the coast.

We have enjoyed a very peaceful week in Joanna Cottage. Despite a couple of stormy nights, we felt cozy and warm inside in front of the log fire. Such a stunning view! I loved visiting the hens for a couple of fresh eggs, and there was everything we needed inside the cottage to make for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were always available to help us with any questions. A wonderful place to stay.

Had a great little stopover at NRMA Warrnambool. Whilst we didn’t use them we were pleasantly surprised by the amenities available outside of the accomodation such as a tennis court, mini golf course and pool. The river it’s situated next to is gorgeous. Lovely spot!

The property has amazing views and if you are lucky you can catch the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. Right across from the beach the house was fully equipped and had everything you would need and more. The jacuzzi was great after a long day at the beach. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and well appointed. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful tranquil location, the cottage was warm and cosy with stunning views… loved our stay here will definitely comeback!

This is my second time staying at Roost and it is just breathtaking! Incredibly dog friendly, perfect setting, walk up the beach at Johanna to the rock pools. Two mumma koalas with babies right at the doorstep, Gang Gang cockatoo munching by the kitchen window. Can’t ask for more!

One of the best short stay accommodations my family have stayed in. Comfortable, clean, felt like home and extremely well equipped with everything you could want or need. Very well thought out, accomadating and a great deal on price! Leanne is a fantastic warm and professional host who was very welcoming with great prompt communication. A really beautiful place for singles, couples, families or people with pets. My family will definitely be back in the future and cannot recommend this property more. Thanks for having us Leanne 😊

Quirky place very close to shops and restaurants. Modern kitchen with nice backyard. Very old fashioned living area and bathrooms, but it adds to the charm.

We were very impressed when we arrived at Middenway. What a beautiful home, with big bedrooms & plenty of room for 10 of us. The house was perfect for our needs and everything we required was supplied including pantry items, games & much more. The location was also perfect. We were in walking distance to everything. The house was also lovely and clean. We made some lovely memories being able to accommodate our family together.

Michael’s place was perfect for our stay in Warrnambool. Very clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. It also had a lovely garden and outdoor area. Close walk to the shops, parks and river walk.

Maria's villa is charming, sizable and kitted out with everything you could need (big shout out to the awesomely stocked first-aid supplies). A rug in the living area would really bring home the cosiness, but ofc that's quite a minor nitpick/suggestion. Curdievale is peaceful and perfectly located as a base for the GOR's attractions like the Apostles, Timboon, etc. – and it was quite nice to retreat from the tourism bustle each night and cook a simple dinner after a hectic day of hiking. Maria herself is super responsive, friendly and helpful, which always goes a long way. Overall I loved my stay and heartily recommend it as an option along the GOR.

We had a fabulous stay in Port Fairy at Andrea's beautiful place. Her home was beautiful, very clean, well-appointed, and spacious. Perfect for our family for the weekend. We loved being so close to the main precinct, a quick and easy walk, but loved that we were away from the hustle and bustle. The communication from Andrea, from the moment we enquired, was incredible and there was always an immediate response to any question we had. Can strongly recommend this beautiful home for a wonderful stay in Port Fairy.

We had a very pleasant stay at Boré & Anita’s place. The cottage has a homely feel and a lovely tranquil garden. The yard is secure and was a great place for us to relax with our dog. It was great to be within walking distance to the beach and shops.
