The Tower, Okarito

The Tower is a comfortable two storey, seperate building with an upstairs bedroom with ensuite bathroom. It has excellent views of the sea and the Southern Alps. A warm, cosy and quiet space with a private garden. Free Wifi (system fully upgraded August 2021) Downstairs is the living room / kitchenette area. Upstairs and downstairs are connected by external stairs (see photos). Awesome outdoor bath - great for stargazing (new Aug 22). There are balconies on three sides of the tower.

The Nest at Hurunui Jacks (outdoor bath & firepit)

So much more than a place to sleep - toast marshmallows around a private fire, take a bike on the West Coast Wilderness trail, kayak on our little lake! The Nest is a stand alone self contained unit with outdoor bath/shower, close to but separate from the main house. Located on our little hobby farm in HariHari about 4.5 kms off state highway 6. Our cottage is divided into two beautiful fully equipped studio units. The units are suitable for couples or a single person. The area is very quiet has great views of the surrounding farm land, trees, mountains and our garden. If you want to cook in the little kitchen you will have to bring food with you the nearest supermarket is either in Franz Josef Glacier or Hokitika.
