We loved our long weekend stay at the Lochen House! Our pups loved the yard, as did we. The hot tub, rowboat, and dome were the cherry on top. Such a fun stay. We also made time to visit Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Leland. The location was very convenient. However, the noise from the conveniently located main roadway, US31, was pretty loud. This of course is clearly mentioned by Jeff and in others’ reviews, but it is worth mentioning again as it slightly took away from the peaceful feel of the rest of the property. The value is there though. The house itself was clean and tidy. It had everything we could have needed and we really appreciated the grill. Overall, it was a great stay and we hope to be back in the future! 😃

I booked this beautiful home after my first reservation and host cancelled on me due to the storms. Well, I can say… we are so happy with our stay. It was exactly as described and even better than expected. April really is a one of a kind host, so good that I had to take notes for my own Air bnb adventure. She thought of everything! I’ve never had a better stocked kitchen. We always cook and make a big meal and we sure did not want for anything. We were even greeted with a local baked good and extra sheets and blankets for the dogs. These hosts were the best I’ve had in Michigan, if not the whole country. I’m thankful for people who truly consider someone’s stay and thinks of it all. Thank you again to the hosts. The Cabin was spotless and one of my favorite features was the deer lights.

My husband & I rented Melissa's cottage for a weekend getaway to Traverse City. It was so peaceful & the home was just as described/pictured. The gifts left for us were delicious & made us feel very welcome. The hot tub was perfect for cold mornings & evenings. The cottage was clean & decorated lovely (LOVE all the books!). We feel we chose the perfect rental for our weekend! Leelanau county has a lot to offer & more than we realized! We wine tasted on Old Mission Peninsula near Traverse City, but apparently there were nice wineries even closer - & one just a couple miles down the road from this rental! The heat worked well and the fireplace was such a nice touch for the winter. I'm so glad it's usable! Thank you again for sharing your cottage with us!

The home was beyond expectations and included everything you could need and more. It was secluded and the natural beauty was breathtaking! The host was immediately responsive when we had a question and exceedingly accommodating. The hot tub was perfect on a cold misty morning overlooking the serene river view just a few steps from the deck. Highly recommended and hoping to return next year.

My husband and I love the Leelanau peninsula and try to go up once in the spring before the craziness and once in the fall each year. Tiffany’s place did not disappoint. The property its self was magical, private, and everything as described. The location was 5 stars for what we enjoy - Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor and all in between! Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Wonderful place to stay, this place had everything and worked great for our bachelorette party group of 14! Everything was clean and neat, easy to find a use, and Barb was very helpful with any question we had! Traverse city was an easy 20 minute drive. The farm animals were fun to have around as well! We loved it and highly recommended this place!

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is in a quiet area with easy parking and views and an easy walk to the bay. Check-in was simple, with Kate providing great instructions for the keypad to let ourselves in. The house was cozy with all amenities as described, and we felt right at home. All the Traverse City attractions were easy to get to, and Kate provided great recommendations. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely great for a group to stay. Truly ski in/ski out for hilda’s hideaway to disciples 8. Host very responsive to questions 24/7. Clean place with all the basic amenities you need

The location was very remote but only 20 minutes from civilization. Places to eat and get gas were closer. Hosts were very friendly and helpful making great recommendations. Accommodations were spacious and private. Nice to have a full kitchen. Highly recommend staying with Lynn and Sam. We had a great time and wish it would have been longer.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Lauren’s chalet is spacious, beautiful, well decorated and really feels like home. My husband and I loved the primary suite, the bed was very comfortable. The kids loved the treehouse and all of the trees behind the house. I wish we had better weather but regardless of the cold, we really enjoyed the stay. The WiFi worked great even though it’s very remote!

Great host! We enjoyed our stay. Awesome location. We’ve stayed in TC many time and this is our favorite. We hope to stay with Fernando again in the future. Thanks for making us feel at home!

Spider Lake Cottage is a gem! Quiet ,peaceful and beautifully decorated. Nikki has truly thought of everything to make the guests' stay PERFECT! The kitchen is well stocked. The view of the lake through the windows is so pretty. Our Lab,Louis loved watching the squirrels and chipmunks in the trees and on the ground. There were also 2 ducks that made a few visits. We came during the early spring so we used the remote controlled fireplace while we read , played games and watched TV. We enjoyed cooking, drinking wine and turning on the twinkle lights at night. We have stayed here multiple times in the winter season and love it. So cozy and has everything you need for a great stay. Alyssa is always so fast at responding and is a wonderful host every time! We love her cabin due to the size and location, it’s perfect for us.

We had a great time here. This two bedroom, two bathroom house was perfect for my family ( 2 adults, 1 child and a large dog. The house is recently remodeled, located in the woods and on a lake. The yard is beautiful the views are perfect. There was everything you needed inside included a hair dryer which I forgot and family games like the fun childish butt crack puzzle that my 8 year old loved doing with us. The house is located only 20+ minutes from downtown Traverse City but just out of the hustle and bustle. The only thing that sucked was the sliding door that stuck, was so hard to open and close and almost impossible to lock but the owners had a paper on the fridge explaining that they were fixing that very soon. We visited in April so we didn't get in the water but they had kayaks, fishing poles, bikes, life jackets and so much more to enjoy that lake. I loved this vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in this gorgeously updated condo with a lake view. Patty and Al are friendly and responsive and gave us terrific recommendations for dining, sight-seeing, and making the most of our stay. The condo itself is lakeside and the many windows offer lovely views - both sunrise and sunset. Downtown restaurants and gift shops in Boyne City are just a short walk away along the waterfront, passing parks and boat launches along the way. We visited summertime but it's perfectly situated for skiers as well.

Absolutely loved the location of this rental! It was like a 3 minute walk over to the yellow chair. So, so easy! The condo is also fully stocked with anything you might need for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is decorated super cute, was clean and very accommodating. We would stay here again for another ski trip.

We stayed at Cathy's place while having plans at Nub's Nob. The location was absolutely perfect. Cathy was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house was beautiful and comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. We would, without a doubt, stay here again when in the area.

Carrie's Place met all the needs of our family. They went to snowboard and were able to do lots of that despite the recent ice storm. They liked the spacious rooms, winding staircase to the loft, fireplace and being able to have their own bedroom. The 3 boys also enjoyed the waterpark at Boyne Mountain Resort. The grandparents hope to rent the same place in the summer for some northern Michigan golf and hiking.

Wonderful host and fantastic condo. Comfortable, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Very nice linens and towels. Location was perfect for us to access Nubs Nob and restaurants in Harbor Springs. Janine was exceptionally welcoming and responsive.

This may be one of my new favorite Air BNB spots! It is very comfortable and close to a lot of spots in Traverse City. The beach view was also very nice to look at. Kara is a great host and provided us with clear check in and check out instructions. Will definitely be visiting again!

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

We loved staying here for a little weekend getaway! Dorene and John were so helpful and kind. The place was awesome so close to everything! Everything was so cozy and well put together, the hot tub with view is awesome!! We for sure will be back
