We had a lovely stay at Sam's guesthouse. Although it is attached it still felt very private. We had some cooler weather while there so was a treat to light the fire but also got out for a fresh water swim which was so good. Our 3 year old absolutely loved it when the chooks came the visit in the morning and afternoon. Very friendly and helpful hosts, thanks for having us!

The most amazing stay we've ever had! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We walked into a cozy house beautifully lit by a fire place. Fresh milk and eggs were waiting for us, and they were absolutely delicious. Janeen was incredibly helpful. Our little one was kept entertained with plenty of puzzles, Legos, and toys. One of the highlights was the tour of the farm. Janeen and Adrian showed us the cows, the cow shed, explained how the milking is done, and even let our little one collect fresh eggs from the chickens. The view over the mountains was breathtaking, and the river nearby made the whole place feel like a peaceful retreat. The sunrise in the morning was absolutely stunning. The hospitality we received was beyond amazing. This was truly the best stay we've ever experienced, and we can't wait to come back!

Sharon’s place was very cosy, spacious, comfortable and clean. The view and surroundings were beautiful! I will not hesitate to stay here again.

It was the perfect set up for the 4 of us. We arrived late and the heat pump was already on so the place was warm and cozy! It had everything we needed, great recommendations and great location. Will be coming back again!

We had such a great stay at Rawhiti Cottage! The place is super cosy and full of character. The setup was perfect for our group of 4. The surroundings were stunning, especially with the deer right outside. Farm walks and river access made it feel extra special. Highly recommend if you’re after a peaceful, unique spot to relax. Would definitely come back!

absolutely stunning property everything you would imagine a homestead to be, it was really grand inside put also warm and very comfortable. we have two children so it was nice to relax and let them enjoy the space. pool was great we had some fun imagine the summer months to be even better. Exactly as described. Clean, had all we needed to enjoy a care free weekend. Was also able to book a extra night last minute, which she was happy to do due to no other bookings in place.

Sally’s cottage was superb! In very windy weather Sally offered additional firewood and checked up on us. The cottage was very cosy and tastefully decorated. A very rememberable stay! Would go again.

Fabulous stay. We chose Rural retreat as we were going to a wedding near by and it was Easter. Very well appointed and very comfortable. Thanks Claire for making our time there so relaxing and easy.

We had an amazing stay at Jo and David’s cottage. Jo was an excellent host and was really accommodating to our various needs since we have a young child. We love Jo’s lovely home-made products, nice attention to details. The location is great, just a short drive to the main township so we can go explore easily. The cottage itself is comfortable and spacious. We love the view of the vineyard and lovely sunset everyday while we have our dinner. Would definitely stay here again :)

My husband and I spent our first year wedding anniversary at this special place. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful air bnb. Jo was very friendly, responsive and super accommodative. The wonderful breakfast pack, bottle of bubbles and book exchange cabin was a special touch. Hope to stay again some day!

A lovely but too short stay at Helen’s place. Helen was super helpful and allowed us to use the bikes before check in. The cottage has all amenities you would need and a beautiful outlook to the vineyard. We would stay here again!

Everything was as described. Rural location but only 5 minutes to Otaki. Peaceful location. Good parking etc and host was excellent.

Mark's BnB was just as the photos looked. Very modern, clean with everything we needed. Just a short walk into the charming village, and Mark was also very helpful when our mobile phone was left behind. I highly recommend it if you are staying in Martinborough.
