Property is gated, guest have there own access and free to roam the property. We like to give guest there own space, however either myself or a staff member are always available and happy to help. Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). A little forest in the heart of the Winelands cuddles this secret gem #jangroentjiecottage close to a dam fed by the fynbos covered Helderberg. a Selfcatering hideaway that sleeps two with a fireplace, braai and a woodfired hottub. Within walking distance from Taaibosch, Pink Valley and Avontuur Wine and stud farm. Just across the R44 Ken Forrester Wines is luring. For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

The 3 rooms in the house are ensuite with fresh crisp linen and there is an extra ensuite bedroom next to the pool. The modern kitchen is well equipped, open plan and interactive. Great news is we have an inverter for lights and power to assist during load shedding.

La Vieille Cure

LaViellie Cure in one of the oldest house in Franschhoek, built earlier than 1850 and declared National Monument in 1981. The cottage has its own private entrance and cozy courtyard with mountain view and pergolas at the front and back patios. The inside is characterised by a spacious open studio that retains the historical features with an added touch of modernity. The historical cottage is at walking distance from restaurants and from the wine tram station and many others amenities!!

Blueberry Hill Cottages - Lavender - Franschhoek

Lavender Cottage is a modern three bedroom self catering cottage with three bedrooms, main ensuite and the other two bedrooms share a full bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and Nespresso coffee maker. The cottage has its own private terrace overlooking the large rim flow pool. The pool is situated on it's own large terrace and is shared with Olive cottage. We are ideal for guests who enjoy wine tours, the outdoors, hiking and biking plus horse riding.

Lovely garden suite set in peaceful garden, is elegantly decorated with a bath, en-suite bathroom and shower. The room is fully equipped with a Generator, TV, Wi-Fi, microwave, cutlery and crockery, tea & Nespresso coffee facilities, air-conditioning, heating, hairdryer, etc. The room leads onto its own private garden, where you enjoy the magnificent view of the Franschhoek mountains. Enjoy a swim in the swimming pool or a game of tennis or walks in the vineyards and rose garden.

Pink Lady @ Pendennis Farm Villiersdorp

THE PINK LADY is a gracious Victorian Manor House situated on a working farm which offers something for the entire family: bird watching, relaxing and scenic walks . Swimming in the dam is seasonal due to irrigation. But there is a small pool available from Oct. to May..We provide instant coffee, tea, rusks, 1 crate of wood (no charcoal) fire lighters. For our little guests there is a playground with an enjoyable jungle gym. We are pet friendly and the house has a fenced garden.

Heidi’s Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

Situated on a working fruit and wine farm beneath the beautiful Stettyn Mountains, Kliprivier Cottage offers vineyard views and a peaceful farm atmosphere. We’re conveniently located just across the road from the Stettyn Family Vineyards tasting room, where you can enjoy award-winning wines and cheese platters. Outdoor lovers will appreciate the MTB and running trails, as well as our tranquil dam, ideal for bass fishing or birding.
