Misty Ridge - Kennerdell Getaway

Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

The Farmhouse

Come and relax in the country setting of The Farmhouse. It is on 200 acres and is over 100 years old. It has been recently remodeled, the first floor accommodations has a spacious updated kitchen, roomy living room, bedroom with queen bed and a spacious full bath. A upstairs bedroom also with a queen bed. A private deck off the living room to enjoy morning coffee or evening relaxing. Spend the evening relaxing in front of a fire in the pavilion right behind the farmhouse.

This fully furnished cabin sleeps 8! Lovely rustic cabin to enjoy the peace and total privacy of Cook Forest in Northwestern Pa. 2 bedrooms with one Queen bed, 2 sets of Bunk Beds and a full sleeper sofa. Bath with shower, full kitchen. We live upstairs in a contemporary style house built in 2000 1 new Queen sized bed Queen sized air mattress if needed upon request We will have some small snacks and drinks provided for you upon arrival . The kitchen is fully stocked with anything for your cooking or baking needs. We are a quiet living family but as we are upstairs there may be some noise. However we go to bed early 😊

Farm Getaway "Hideaway Haven Farm" experience

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. There are so many things to enjoy. The friendly Highland cows, goats, chickens and barn cats there is always entertainment. You can feed the fish in the large beautiful stocked pond or just enjoy the view and sit around or take the canoe out in the water. Your own fire pit to warm up. Take a long walk around 27+ acres.
