From here explore Neptune's Staircase, a flight of 8 locks on the Caledonian Canal. A five minute walk can catch a view of the iconic "Harry Potter" steam train as it passes through Banavie station on its way to Glenfinnan, one of the world's most scenic rail journeys. Good phone reception for most providers but no wi-fi or TV, just DVDs but who needs a screen when you can just sit and watch the ever changing weather sweep across the glen.

Located midway between Nevis range and Glencoe mountain the Dragons Den is an ideal base for year round outdoor pursuits including skiing, mountain biking ,swimming and ⛳.

Tigh Anteach

Cozy cabin for 2 people only. Sofa bed available on request Far enough up the hill to enjoy the quiet but close enough to the town for the bars and restaurants. The Cow Hill circuit is close to the cabin. Ben Nevis is a 10 min car journey. Glenfinnan viaduct is 14 miles away. It is a 20/30 min walk down into the town. We are on the main local bus route. N46 or N47 bus will get you to our door from the High Street. In good weather you can sit out on the decking and watch the world go by.

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
