You have access to fishing poles a canoe a private pond hot tub that gets 105°, walking paths, and much more! It is very secluded, it is very well kept, it is romantic! A lot of thought and detail was put into all the different areas of this property and you will not be disappointed simply exploring. I know I wasn't.

Awesome stay! Lots of bugs in the cabin, but we didn’t mind. Great for fishing!

We had a fantastic weekend hanging out at the cabin and reconnecting to celebrate our bride 🩵 It was exactly as shown in photos and more impressive in person! It is clear the owners take pride in the property, as ever detail in the design and set up, down to the amenities were clearly thought through and well executed. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend for a peaceful, cozy getaway in a hidden gem of Ohio.

Kelly and I highly recommend The Utopia at Paradise Lake. From the moment we pulled up, it felt like stepping into a postcard. The cabin is beautifully designed—modern, clean, and cozy with thoughtful touches throughout. The lake view is absolutely stunning. We spent our mornings sipping coffee and eating breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake. The kayaks were a huge bonus as we spent the day in the lake taking in the beautiful day, and connecting with the adorable turtles. The host, Jennifer was kind and responsive—making sure everything was perfect. The whole experience felt peaceful, restorative, and just… easy. If you’re looking for a quiet escape to reconnect with nature (and yourself), this place is a dream. We’re already planning our return trip!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was clean, and spacious and easy to get to. It rained most of the time but the fireplace was cozy and the views were peaceful. We did have some confusion around getting the hot tub to heat up, and had difficultly contacting the host but this may have been partially due to the spotty cell service. Overall we enjoyed our time and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing staycation.

My friends and I had another amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! It was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. The cabin was fully stocked with everything I needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets. The attention to detail was evident, and I really appreciated how comfortable and inviting the space was. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat with stunning surroundings. This is our second time staying at this cabin and would love to return in the future! I highly recommend!!

Definitely a nice place to get away with a pond for fishing. Check In and out was straight forward and would 100% come again!

A wonderful place in Southeast Ohio to escape to a quiet place. A great place to enjoy the outdoors and surrounding fish and wildlife opportunities, all the while having a professional host ready to help.

Cabin layout was fantastic! We really enjoyed the large living room with plenty of areas to sit and relax. The beds were comfortable, and we stayed toasty warm with the wall heaters and space heaters. We'd love to stay again!

We had a great trip and are already looking forward to coming back. The cabin was relaxing and the views were beautiful. They offer Kayaks rentals which we plan to try out next time when it’s warmer. Plus The store is conveniently located when you need something. A great overall experience.

Jenny's place was great. Had everything we needed, and very quiet. The surroundings are like a bird sanctuary. It's private but not secluded, their residence is about 500 feet away from the cabin. But they have taken measures to make it feel private. Literally the only drawback is the driveway. She did warn us before getting there that it was in need of repair, but bad is an understatement. It is almost undrivable especially if you are in anything lower than a minivan. We went 2 miles an hour and still bottomed out in some places. Just beware!! But overall great stay!

This was our second stay at Hillside Cabins due to my wife falling in love with them on our first stay. The location is peaceful and relaxing with enough amenities to make it seem like home. We will definitely be back for a third time in the coming years.

If you’re looking to unplug or work without distractions, this is a great cabin to reserve. Simply a beautiful region in Ohio and Valley View cabin offers solace and easy access to unique rural communities and of course nature. Wonderful host who cares about their property and their guests.

Peaceful private cabin in farm country. Great bird watching and view of cattle grazing from the porch. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub relaxing. Enjoyed the fire pit. Will definitely be back. The rocky setting is a bonus. Thank you Carol,

This was the first vacation i’ve taken myself and it was a great experience. Patience was so nice and her house, recommendations and everything was perfect. The home was so cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing as well as the fire pit. She had a book of recommendations on what to do and that was really nice. She even had cookies out which was such a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this place to others and come back a second time :)

This was our second stay at Deer Trace, and it was everything we remembered and LOVED about the place! To be able to be comfortable and together for another lifetime celebration, we loved every minute of it. Being able to be unconnected from the outside worldly distractions was perfect!

My husband & I stayed here with our 3 boys. We all loved it & definitely could've stayed longer! The cabin has plenty to do. I was able to relax, & the boys stayed busy with the game room. There was more than enough sleeping space. & everything was very neat & tidy. I didn't feel like the cabin was too far out of the way from everything we love to do in Amish Country. Sugarcreek was only about 10 minutes away. Not bad at all. We really enjoyed our stay!

This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! My kids loved being greeted by the sheep as soon as you pulled up! It was so peaceful and had everything you would need!

This little cabin was a hidden gem in the woods. It was so relaxing. You woke up to the sunset with the birds chirping through the glass windows. I open the front door and the Jacuzzi was already ready for me to jump in the fire. Pit was absolutely beautiful and all the woods around Was breathtaking nature I am definitely going to rent this place again and have already recommended it to all my friends thank you so much for your stay. It was peaceful and lots of memories that will last with me forever.
