This newly renovated house is located in between Chubu airport and the Nagoya area. The closest station is Obu station and it only takes seven minutes to get there on foot. You have an an easy access to Nagoya city, IKEA, Nagashima Spa land, LEGO land, and so much more! Also it is approximately 45 minutes away from the Nagoya Centrair Airport if you take the highway. There is one parking spot provided. *IMPORTANT* If your nationality is not Japanese, you must bring your Zairyu card or Passport.

A traditional Japanese-style house from the late Edo period. Fully renovated in 2019. This area is famous for its ceramic production, and old kilns are around. The location is 5 min walk to Tokoname station (two stops from the airport). A convenience store is few steps away, and, within walking distance, there are supermarket, pharmacy, laundry, etc. Good access to a duty-free shopping mall and a public spa & bath by train or bus. Easy to access to Nagoya(40 min), Kyoto(1.5h) and Osaka(2h).

Although it does not have the convenience of an urban area, it is a quiet town within walking distance of the sea, and there are supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby. Tokoname is a pottery village with a 900-year history, and because of its thriving trade, people are still friendly and do not separate themselves from those who come from outside.

Good place to stay to visit local tourist place. Or only relaxation is also nice away from the city or busy days.

Renovated Japanese traditional house 1954 Legoland

Renovated Japanese traditional house which was built in 1954 in the suburb of Nagoya area. Rooms are 28㎡ traditional tatami rooms with straw scent. Japanese paper furnitures and wooden carved decorations are preserved. You can touch some items such as Japanese umbrellas, folding fans, plastic Japanese swords to take pictures. Maximum 5 guests but it will be no space to walk. Activities and private tours are available.
