This secluded cabin is the perfect retreat for a single, couple, or a family looking to 'switch off' from the daily grind. There is a grassed camping area right next to the cabin for the kids to sleep in tents, while mum and dad can relax comfortably in Karingal Cabin. Kids stay free when you bring your own tents. We are 5 mins drive from the tourist & fishing village of Yeppoon. We are 190 metres above sea level and boast views north towards the Byfield Ranges and East over the Keppel Isles.

Add an extra minute walk and you are in the center of our unique town, with its shop's, cafes, art gallery, museum & RSL monument Relax on your large deck with views of the ocean, or wander across the road for a swim at the patrolled beach. Well behaved dogs are allowed & there is a large enclosed deck, but no garden. Please note we are on a hill so not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Set on a ridge within 66 acres of rainforest it has views to the ocean, walking tracks through the forest, or a hammock on the verandah to chill. With large airy bedrooms and cosy living quarters it is a gorgeous place to visit. The driveway is steep and requires a high clearance vehicle. For the adventurous spirit its a real adventure. 5kms from Byfield, 40kms from Yeppoon & 80 from Rockhampton airport.

Located just 150 metres from the high tide mark of Emu Park main beach and a few hundred metres from the playground, pub, shops and Anzac Walk you will be close to everything. It's a basic older, no frills beach house, but it's clean and tidy with a few very rustic features. If it's glitz, glamour or hotel style accommodation you're after then best to keep searching.
