Beautiful hand built cabin, overlooking Cotton Pond. Ten minutes from Camden, the sailing mecca of the east coast. Solar lights, (we are off the grid) gravity fed kitchen water, gas-hot water outdoor shower, outhouse overlooking the forest. Hiking trails everywhere! Swimming across the road on Hobbs Pond. If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking.

The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

Get away from it all. Minutes from beautiful Camden and Rockland. Rustic, peaceful cabin is nestled alongside Camden’s Ragged Mountain with miles of pristine hiking /biking trails at your doorstep. Partly primitive, mostly modern- full kitchen, hot inside & outside shower, wifi and work area. Outside you’ll find a pleasant outhouse plus a gas grill, a large fire pit w/ seating and spacious deck. Enjoy quiet seclusion and natural beauty in your own private paradise.

This newly renovated 1920’s one bedroom cottage is tucked into a forested granite hillside with oversized windows to take in the view. Dome 4 at Come Spring Farm

Our geodesic domes sit in on 10 acres of our property . In total come spring farm is 28 acres , you will have access to round pond to kayak , fish or swim. You may also visit the Alpacas , bunnies , pigs , sheep and our new lounge area opening June . The bathroom facilities are private for each dome, no sharing .You will need to walk to bathhouse . This is a great home base to explore all that the Midcoast area has to offer.
