We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the experience. The place is incredibly spacious, peaceful, and had everything we needed—actually more than we expected. It was spotless, modern, and well-equipped, including a dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The yard was lovely, and parking was very convenient. It's just a short 5–10 minute walk to the beach, though the walk is a bit steep. My whole family loved the place—it was quiet and relaxing, and we really appreciated having our privacy. The host was friendly and easy to reach with any questions. We also loved the great selection of teas and really appreciated the cookies—such a thoughtful touch!

From the moment we contacted Jane, she was welcoming and kind. We found everything we needed in her home. Our dogs loved the local walks and so did we! It was so comfortable, from the beds to the living room, we didn’t want to leave!

House even larger than expected. Lots of space for a big party - people could find their own quiet spot. Master bath luxurious. Kitchen well appointed. Private and quiet location. Not walkable but everything a short drive away. Pool and patio not open at end of April as still considered too cold - would have been even better with that available.

This was a great location for our Vancouver island adventures. Pretty central to what we wanted to do. Cathedral Grove was close enough for us to visit multiple times, and the trip over to the Pacific coast was about what we wanted. Great hosts, were very quick to respond, and extremely helpful. House was great for our family, good amount of space, and lots of activities to do on rest days. Would stay here again if we ever come back to explore the area more.

We were blown away by this stay! Such a beautiful home, with gorgeous views. Very spacious and comfortable for our party of five. We wish we could have stayed longer :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Karen’s beautiful suite! It was perfect for two couples as has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked and contains everything you might need. A patio table and barbecue on the deck makes this a perfect place to relax, enjoy the view, and/or cook a meal for a stay in evening. We would recommend this place very highly!

Had a great stay here with my two kids and our dog. Stayed for two weeks and would definitely recommend for long stays. The place has everything you need and close to shops to get anything else you might be looking for. Grocery delivery availabe, Uber eats too in case you don’t feel like cooking and plenty of local attractions to keep you busy!

We had a fabulous time with our kids at Andrew’s house, it’s situated in a lovely quiet setting with a balcony to take in the magical views of the beach. The house had everything we needed, to enjoy our stay. We had a short walk to the beach and lovely walk in the forest. All local shops within 5mins drive in Parksville and would also hugely recommend the Parksville community park for the kids to burn off energy. I would hugely recommend The Mount Arrowsmith Brewery for lunch , great service .

Our stay at Ingrid's was wonderful! We cooked all of our meals, and it helped that the place was well stocked with a huge fridge, and tons of counter space. It was the perfect driving distance between Gibsons and Sechelt, and we got lucky with the weather! It was quiet at night, and we felt very safe. The master bathroom was stunning, the soaking tub was great, the beds were comfortable and soft, the fire pit on the deck was cozy, the place was spotless and their sound system was great. Ingrid was a very helpful and responsive host, and the place was even more stunning than I could have imagined. We had the perfect weekend away! We can't wait to visit again soon.

This was a lovely, spacious, very clean, and bright place. Easy access to internet and a lovely tv for my use. Terry was a fabulous host - easy to talk to; very helpful; but otherwise left me to myself. There was much information available in the suite regarding issues within the suite (i.e. how to access items on the tv), plus information about facilities/amenities/restaurants/etc. available in Courtenay/Comox. I can hardly wait to stay there again.

We had a lovely little weekend getaway at Ramona’s place! We were so impressed by the design and ambiance of the unit, it literally had everything you could possibly need and felt very peaceful and cozy. Ramona was easy to coordinate with and we couldn’t recommend her place more!

This was the most incredible little escape! The apartment was spotless, beautifully set up, and had everything I needed. The pull-out couch was comfortable, and the main bed was perfect for a great night’s sleep. The view from the front yard is absolutely stunning, with mountains that take your breath away. It is also so central, making it easy to get around Nanaimo. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and their sweet big dog greeted me warmly from the upper deck, which made it feel even more like home. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

Serene, remote and beautiful. If you’re looking for a nice getaway from the city hustle and bustle this place is beautiful. You do need a car to get pretty much anywhere since the sidewalks on the road are quite narrow. We saw a beautiful sunset right by the beach under the house. The house has been designed with a lot of love that’s evident. I would recommend!

This has become our annual family vacation. Beautiful views, the best place to relax and enjoy the surroundings and company. The family loved the accessibility of the mountain bike trails. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Cant wait for next year!!!

To begin with, Ebony was an amazing host right from the beginning! I had mom immediate family and children stay at her place during my wedding and she was very accommodating. My family really enjoyed the place and I definitely recommend her place to anyone who needs a place to stay :) Thank you so much!

Grouse Point was amazing! The views alone were worth the visit. The home was immaculate, very spacious and had everything we could possibly need. Liz was a gracious host, answering any inquiries quickly, and so friendly. We would definitely return to this Airbnb!

Jennifer's house was perfect for us! The house is really cozy, beautiful outdoor spaces, quiet neighborhood with a lovely view of the mountains from the back deck. We especially appreciated that the kitchen was replete with good cookware! Jennifer was was very responsive and communicated really well. I'd highly recommend her home to anybody considering a visit to this lovely part of the island

Tom was a responsive and thoughtful host. Tom’s home was perfect for our family to celebrate my daughter’s upcoming marriage. There was lots of space, the kitchen is very well stocked, the outdoor space is fantastic. Tom clearly labelled everything to make it easy to navigate, and his instruction book is thorough. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful quiet home. Big sunny deck lots of chairs and space for all 6 of us. Enjoyed the bbq. Private beach access. Modern clean cabin. Very comfy beds. Kids loved the bunk beds. Awesome to have access to a washer and dryer. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It’s bigger than the pictures show. Would love to come back. Highly recommend.

Our stay was perfect. the bungalow had everything we to be comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and very cozy. The kitchen was fully equipt. We loved that no matter what we were cooking, there were enough pots, pans and utensils. we did lose hot water within the first day or so, but Jeanette answered promptly and it was fixed within a few hours. It didn't affect our stay what so ever. Jeanette is a very attentive host and very good at communicating. Thank you for a great experience at the Bushbuck Bungalow.
