Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

There is a laid-back feel to this charming traditional Scandinavian all wood interior cabin, that is just a short 5 minute walk to the lake and village centre. The new open-plan full kitchen includes electric stove tops, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The lounge area has comfortable leather sofas and looks out onto a sheltered external deck with outdoor furniture and pocket views of the lake and mountains. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Lakeview Cottage is a 2 bedroom cottage with a breathtaking view of Lake Tekapo. Relax on the deck and take in the beautiful lake view or take in the night sky at night. Lakeview Cottage is at 8 Murray Place, which is short walk from the town centre, the Lake, the Church, Dog statue and restaurants and bars. The cottage has a homely feel and has been loved by guests that have stayed before. In the older established part of town, we can guarantee a quiet, enjoyable and peaceful stay.
