Willow Yurt @ Blackdown Yurts

Willow is an authentic Mongolian yurt that sleeps four in one double and two small single beds. It is part of a yurt village of four yurts in Devon's beautiful Blackdown Hills, that collectively sleep a total of 22. Close to the M5 at Cullompton and the A30 at Honiton, ideally placed for a short break away whatever the weather. Our communal barn has all mod cons, plus sofa seating and a lovely wood burner in case the weather is chilly. Each yurt also has its own little wood burner and fire pit.

A 'Wooden Yurt' in a stunning location

Our wooden roundhouse is just like a yurt only made out of wood! The ash pole and cedar shingle roof rests on bespoke wall joists and the whole structure is clad in cedar - a beautiful unique space. The canvas 'top hat' can be taken off so you can sleep under the stars. And that's just the inside! Step outside and you have simply breath-taking views across the farm and surrounding countryside and out to the sea. Set in a private garden on our 30-acre farm, the yurt has everything you need for a perfect holiday. 3 miles from the beautiful South Devon coast and easy access to local amenities. The yurt is furnished comfortably with kitchen, dining, seating and sleeping areas, has electricity & a wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped. Lake yurt has a woodburner, double bed, double futon and single futon, kilim rugs and Moroccan lanterns. Walk across the little bridge into your own woodland which is full of bluebells in the spring. You have your own fully equipped rustic kitchen with dining area a few steps from the yurt and your own compost toilet and wood fired shower.

Our beautiful 6m yurt is situated with stunning views across a magical valley. The yurt was our home so it is very authentic, homely and comfortable. There is a generous double bed with feather duvet and pillows and high quality cotton sheets. There is also a double sofa bed and double futon and we can be very adaptable to your needs. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four ring gas hob, grill and oven. You also have a fridge with a small freezer compartment.

Moroccan style yurt with art deco fire and cooking facilities, set in its own wooded private area with outside fire pit. With use of glass house and seating area in private grounds including woodland and paddocks to view alpacas peacocks and many more animals. We are 20 minutes from coastal areas 15 minutes from Barnstaple, the Tarka trail and Exmoor. Also their is a footpath to the local pub from the property. We are a small friendly family run business.
