Te Ika-a-Māui / North Island: eco lodge

Nuala and David's lodge was amazing and by far the best place we stayed at in New Zealand! They were outstanding hosts and made us feel like family. We stayed only one day but wanted to stay longer.

This is an outstandingly beautiful place to stay. The views are amazing, the pool and the hot tube are clean and inviting, and it is incredibly peaceful. It is a wonderful place to have a barbeque on the deck and eat. The room had some nice touches, like some filter coffee, some museli as well as the usual tea and coffee sachets. The beds are amazingly comfortable, and everything is spotlessly clean. Lori is a lovely person who is very kind, and made sure that we always had what we needed. It is hard to imagine a better place than Lori's, and I totally recommend it to everyone.

Great place to stay in Auckland. I loved being right across the road from Mt Eden for morning walks up to the crater. The beds were comfortable, the lounge and kitchen welcoming, available staff and a good price. Very happy with our stay.

We had a good stay at The Alpine Chalets. Checkin and checkout were very easy. Stewart and Mary were very responsive and provided clear instructions. The place was very accessible to everything that you might need like bus stop, restaurants and dairy. The room is a bit dated, especially the toilet and shower, but overall it was functional, clean and tidy.

Tolle Unterkunft in unschlagbarer Lage! Sauberes Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Gute Restaurants und Ausflugsanbieter in fußläufiger Nähe. Nette Gastgeberin, gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful time! The location is gorgeous, the property has been lovingly designed and is very well thought-out, and Elizabeth and her family couldn't have been nicer. We loved the walk down to the beach and walking to Collingwood, and the birdsong in the evenings and mornings was amazing.

Super clean, tidy and easy to get to. We booked last minute as we were traveling late at night and needed a place to stay. We were able to secure a room with no issues, would definitely recommend this accomodation especially for last minute/late night check in.
