I really enjoyed this apartment! Mohammed picked us up from a local meeting point and took us in a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Fes where cars are inaccessible. He pointed out currency exchange locations and stores that sold the most affordable and best items as we made our way to the apartment. Upon arrival, we were treated to traditional tea and biscuits and asked for additional information by the host so he could submit it to the local police station. The apartment was clean and traditionally decorated with lots of appliances. The location was amazing as it was near all the major shops and places for sightseeing. The only downside was that Mohammed didn’t respond to my messages for the day that I stayed at his location. I wanted to be reminded of where the currency exchange and leather shops were but he was offline till the next day (definitely could’ve been busy which made responding difficult). Overall, definitely worth it to visit and would love to come again!

Merci à Nada qui a été très disponible pour ma mère et moi dès notre arrivée. Son papa est venu nous chercher à la gare à 2h du matin… Un grand merci à lui qui a été très gentil et disponible tous le long de notre séjour. Je recommande le logement qui est très bien situé. Des taxis passent toutes les minutes dans le coin pour les déplacements. Je n’hésiterai pas à revenir pour un prochain voyage❤️

J’ai passé un excellent séjour chez Astrid avec mes deux ados. Les plus : - appartement idéalement situé à l’entrée d’une des porte de la médina - Accessible en taxi car justement pas non plus situé dans la médina. - arrivée par une petite rue bleue trop jolie - Appartement sobre mais avec tout ce qu’il faut pour passer quelques jours - terrasse sur le toit super agréable pour profiter de la vue sur la médina, d’un moment au soleil avec un livre, ou manger sur la table - sur une placette charmante avec un petit café à 10 mètres où l’on sert un merveilleux petit déjeuner typique et délicieux pour 3€ - petit resto à 30 mètres où l’on sert un excellent couscous à 4€ - accueil très chaleureux et flexible. Possibilité de bénéficier d’une petite sdb à l’arrivée même si la chambre n’est pas prête, et de déposer les affaires pour aller se balader en attendant. - zone très safe pour se balader à pieds même la nuit Les moins: - lits du bas très petits - terrasse partagée

appt très propre, réactivité de Achraf et Saïd. je recommande sans problème. Centre ville accessible car beaucoup de taxis si vous n'avez pas de voiture. Merci

Hôte impeccable, très réactif et accueillant. La maison était propre, bien équipée et conforme à l’annonce. On s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise. Un séjour très agréable, je recommande sans hésiter !

El alojamiento en el piso resultó ser una experiencia muy satisfactoria. El lugar está ubicado en una zona céntrica de la ciudad, lo que permite acceder fácilmente a los principales puntos de interés, tiendas y restaurantes. A pesar de su ubicación privilegiada, el ambiente es sorprendentemente tranquilo, lo cual es ideal para descansar . El piso en sí está bien cuidado, con una decoración simple pero moderna. Habitación limpia y cómoda, y la cama ofrece un buen nivel de confort. El anfitrión fue muy amable y atento, proporcionando instrucciones claras para la llegada. Además, el proceso de check-in y check-out fue rápido y sin complicaciones. En general, es un alojamiento excelente para aquellos que buscan una estancia breve en el corazón de la ciudad sin sacrificar la tranquilidad ni la comodidad.

le séjour était magnifique , l'appartement était propre, calme , quartier sécurisé , identique aux photos , un petit peu difficile d'y arriver sans voiture . à recommender !

séjour magique , Houda était présente a distance pour répondre à toutes nos questions ! quant a saidaa et Houda deux rencontres humaines exceptionnelles soucieuses du bien être des hôtes et d'une discrétion incroyable. voyage magique , riad majestueux au milieu de la medina dans un endroit exceptionnelle. une parenthèse hors du temps avec des lieux à proximité et accessibles. le guide conseillé était aussi formidable. lieu propre et paisible encore merci. pour ce moment magnifique !

Perfekter Ort zum Entspannen! Unser Aufenthalt in diesem BnB in Fez war einfach traumhaft! Von der ersten Minute an habe ich mich willkommen und wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gestaltet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und einer Atmosphäre, die absolute Ruhe und Entspannung ausstrahlt. Eine Menge Geschichte steckt in dem Haus Die Lage ist ideal – nah genug, um die faszinierende Stadt zu erkunden, aber gleichzeitig ein ruhiger Rückzugsort fernab vom Trubel. Besonders begeistert hat mich der charmante Innenhof, in dem man wunderbar entspannen kann. Auch das Frühstück war köstlich und mit frischen, lokalen Zutaten zubereitet. Die Küche ist optimal ausgestattet. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man sich super entspannen. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, gab tolle Tipps und sorgte dafür, dass es mir an nichts fehlte. Ich kann dieses BnB jedem empfehlen, der in Fez eine Oase der Ruhe sucht. Ich komme definitiv wieder! Kommen definitiv wieder

We spent 4 amazing nights in these Riad and we’ve loved to stroll around all the narrow streets of Medina, since the Riad is in the Medina’s heart. It was probably an ancient family house with 3 rooms (and 3 bathrooms now!) with a common central luminous space. Equipped with all you need for a comfy stay. Big rooms and a lot of space: we’ve stayed with our two kids and they love the place too. We found very useful to have washing machine and drying machine in the apartment. We were incredibly surprised since in the night it was really quiet and silent, despite being in the heart of the city.

What a wonderful stay - Joe and Claire have lovingly restored the riad and kept many traditional touches. The riad is spacious and private, the bathrooms and shower room were clean and worked well, and there is excellent wifi throughout the home up to the rooftop. The real gem of this riad is the rooftop, with Medina views and delicious breakfasts prepared by Imane. Thank you for having us in your home!

Me and my 3 sisters had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Riad. Clare sent us all the information we needed prior to arrival which was very helpful. When we checked in, we were wowed. The property was so much nicer than the photos! The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the rooftop was a lovely place for breakfast and reading. But the true highlight was the house manager Zahrae whose kindness, generosity and help made our stay so special. Selma and Hasna's cooking was also incredible. The two dinners we had at the Riad were our favourite meals in Fes. Overall we had such a wonderful stay. The Riad is very well located, safe, cosy, clean and is managed by wonderful women. I hope to stay again one day.

I didn’t want to leave Suzanna’s place! This is the only way to visit Fez — staying in an authentic riad. The beauty really can’t be quantified in photos or in a review. It was perfect. A couple of points: 1) Another review mentioned stairs being steep but I did not find this to be true. There are stairs, like in any riad, but they weren’t as numerous or as steep as most other places in Morocco, in my opinion. 2) This is not “hotel perfect” — and you wouldn’t want it to be. The home breathes history… things like worn tiles are the quirks that convey its long rich life. It is a privilege to stay in a place like this. 3) If offered, get the breakfast! It was really nice to have that. I’d stay a thousand more times. Don’t hesitate!

bien plus joli que sur les photos, emplacement parfait et hôte très accueillant, un cocktail parfait pour un bon séjour.

The house is great. We stayed for a week as a group of 7. There was enough common space for all of us, kitchen had everything you need for cooking. There is a lot of old and beautiful furniture. Beds were comfortable to sleep in. There are radiators in every room plus heaters in the bathrooms and common areas. We came in winter so it was important for us. There is no bathtub that is (or was, i haven't checked before writing a review) shown in the photos. But there was a closed space, so maybe it hides somewhere there. There are 2 toilets and 3 showers. The internet wasn't very stable but most of us were on a vacation and we had mobile internet so it wasn't a huge problem of us. The hosts are great. Very easy to communicate and very helpful.

a very cozy place in a quiet neighborhood, there is a lot of construction but the sound was hardly noticeable it's definitely an up and coming neighborhoo, very peaceful and the people were gentle.

Monsieur Jaafar nous a accordé un bon accueil. Nous avons trouvé la maison très propre et bien meublée. La cuisine est également bien équipée. Le quartier est calme, sécurisé et propre. Avec un parking gardé 24H/24. Pas loin un grand supermarché et des commerces et restaurants de proximité. Je recommande vivement Maison Jaafar à tous les voyageurs.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect, no notes! the place was spotless, incredibly cozy, especially with the fireplace (which by the way our host kindly lit up for us to make sure the place was warm when we got there) which made our stay even more special. it had everything we needed, the attention to detail was truly remarkable literally NOTHING was missing. the price was also incredibly fair for the quality of the stay and the host was kind and responsive, always making sure we were comfortable. i highly recommend this Airbnb and would 100% stay here again if i get the chance!
