The Little Red House

This tastefully decorated home is a 3 min drive to downtown Black Mountain and 18 min to Asheville. Enjoy the quality craftsmanship of the home and the high end finishes. Built by a true artisan, you can see his attention to detail throughout the home. Located on a quiet street a near downtown Black Mountain, enjoy the proximity to great restaurants and shops. Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain. The comfortable living space includes a rain shower, king sized bed in a lofted sleeping area, cozy wood stove and a full kitchen. Surrounding the cabin is a large deck with a table and chairs, a luxurious soaking bathtub, and a patio equipped with a fire pit and propane grill.

Spruce Fork Cottage

Spruce Fork Cottage is a cozy cabin using some solar energy with 2 bedrooms, living/dining area, kitchen, and bathroom with shower. It is a prefect getaway for 1 to no more than 4 people and is within 20 minutes of Asheville, 15 minutes from Black Mountain, 10 minutes from market/gas. Areas to hike are close by or accessible via the Blue Ridge Parkway. Mount Mitchell is an hour north on BR Parkway, Carl Sandburg is about an hour South. Everyone is welcome.

Renovated Farmhouse with Pond-10 min to Downtown!

****NO CHILDREN BELOW AGE 12 DUE TO DEEP POND JUST OUTSIDE THE DOOR This is the original farmhouse on our 40-acre property. Recently, we updated the inside with modern amenities, while preserving much of the original charm. Note that there is a slightly uneven floor in the kitchen due to the age of the house, but the kitchen is otherwise modern. The house has a pond and water feature, and is super convenient to downtown (just 6.5 miles).
