The Cottage is located one block from the river, take a stroll to the waterfront at Sunset, walk to everything downtown, just a few steps, then retreat to your own private peaceful sanctuary! Great local fishing and wildlife refuges. Enjoy the riverfront beach in town. Spend your evenings dining on the large screened back porch and cooking on the grill. Ample parking for your boat right out front!

Pungo Shores Retreat

Come and stay in our family’s beautiful river side vacation home! With views of the water from the front porch and the quiet peaceful surroundings this home is sure to be perfect for anyone wanting to go fishing on their boat, hunting, or enjoy a family vacation. There is a private neighborhood boat ramp available right out front and the home does have a backup generator, large front and back porches, large living area with plenty of seating and a large laundry room great for storing any extras!

‘Fancy Like’ - Dog Friendly (no kids please)

I have converted my downstairs bonus room into a comfortable private living space. Guests have their own entry door from the outside. I live on a deep water canal with boat dock, and am 1/2 mile from the local boat ramp. You may use the dock space and there is plenty of room to park your trailer or boat and trailer. Storage space for hunting and fishing equipment too! Guests have their own private bath, and kitchen AREA with coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. No kitchen sink or range.

Cozy cabin nestled on the edge of Lake Mattummuskeet. This newly constructed cabin blends in seamlessly with the surrounding trees. Large covered back deck provides a tranquil escape and endless water views. Whether you are an advent bird watcher, or drawn to be on the water there is an activity for all. The large spacious interior comfortably sleeps a group of 2 or as many as 10. Outdoor dining with gas grill and roomy decks. Reconnect with nature and disconnect from the world for a while.

Large 3 bedroom house near the eastern North Carolina wildlife refuges. The perfect place to enjoy bird/nature watching, hiking, fishing, and hunting. Minutes from Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, where countless Tundra Swan migrate for the winter. The house is near the riverfront town of Belhaven, that offers restaurants and public boat ramp options that provide access to the Pungo River and Pamlico Sound. The house is a short drive to Bell Island Swan Quarter Fishing Pier.

Historic 1875 farmhouse on a quiet Hyde County farm. Nearby Activities: Bear, Deer, Duck and Turkey Hunting, Bird watching at the Lake Mattamuskeet Wildlife Refuge, Fishing and Outer Banks. Location is 15 minutes from Foodlion Grocery Store, Spoon River Farm to Table Restaurant, The Tavern at Jack's Neck, Farm Boy's, The Bistro at River Forest Manor and Fish Hook's Cafe. Also 20 minutes to the Swan Quarter Ferry which takes you to Ocracoke and 1 hour 45 minutes to Nags Head, NC.

Swan Quarter is waiting for you at this 3-bedroom house. Inside, you'll find a soothing atmosphere with 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 2 twin beds to ensure a tranquil night's sleep. Enjoy the pleasant living space with amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, dryer, AC, and heating. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience. Come enjoy the best Hyde County has to offer while also being conveniently located 10 miles from the town of Belhaven, 20 miles from Swan Quarter Ferry which leads to North Carolinas beautiful outer banks. With water access, a boat ramp and dockage this newly built cabin allows you to have access to some of the best fishing/hunting around. Located on the grounds is a fire pit, hammock and also a short walking trail to enjoy the best of what nature has to offer.

From Mountains to the Sea

Centrally located 10 mins from Lake Mattamuskeet, 5 mins from Ferry Station to Ocracoke Island, 1 hr to OBX. Perfect for hunters, fishermen, birding and families looking for a comfortable place to relax with a spacious, fully stocked kitchen and pantry. Stop for a few nights on the way to OBX or to catch the ferry. Dogs are NOT allowed any longer, but message me requests and I may consider pets outside or in enclosed porch with PRIOR approval and guidelines.
