Contemporary country experience Enjoy the simplicity and restoration that rural peace offers without getting your hands dirty (*unless you want to!). This design inspired cottage provides a place for up to 6 people to take in the sunset sitting by the open fire, then wake to collect fresh eggs and watch the horses, cows and kangaroos graze, or wander down to the creek for a picnic. The cottage is fully enclosed in a fenced area 800m2. We have changed the fencing so none is electric.

Our studio is a short walk to Mittagong town centre, situated in the picturesque Southern Highlands. Explore the wide selection of cafes and restaurants. Local shopping includes vintage clothing, antiques, arts and craft. Enjoy a walk to Lake Alexandra or along one of the many bush tracks. Alternatively, jump in the car and visit Bowral, Berrima and the other surrounding towns and villages. You’ll love our place because it is homely, separated from our house, and has a comfy bed.

Surrounded by lush farm land the property has wonderful views of the nearby bush and from the back deck complete with BBQ you can listen to the sounds of neighbouring animals, including sheep, cows, alpacas. While 'house' might be a stretch for this cosy studio-style room, it does have separate facilities. There's a separate "kitchenette", shower and toilet. IT HAS ONE KING SIZE BED and ONE SOFABED. The sofabed is charged at an additional $20/night. The Little House has everything you need for a short stay in The Highlands! * The property welcomes gentle, well socialised pups. The Little House backyard is also shared by my super friendly dog and ewe!
