Bear Cabin Near Acadia, Downeast Maine, Fishing

"Bear" cabin is one of four new cabins at Dickens Farms in Eastbrook Maine. Our cabins are spaced for privacy and each has its own fire pit, bbq grill and picnic area. You can enjoy water access to Abrams Pond for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Two kayaks are provided per cabin for your enjoyment. Sit in the screened in porch and listen to nature or head into Acadia National Park to explore. Bike along the private road. Relax with your family for a quick getaway or week long adventure.

Charming 3 bedroom, 1 bath traditional wooden cabin, situated on 8 acres in Southwest Harbor. Walk into town easily for restaurants, galleries and boutiques. Or walk to the town dock for an adventure to another island. Ferries leave daily to explore outer islands. Acadia easily explored from here, with parts of Southwest Harbor being National park land. 5 minutes drive to Acadia National Park -Flying Mountain and Valley Cove are very close by. The view from the covered porch of this 3-bedroom Bungalow, a bathing house, built in the early 1900s, is an ever exploding fusion of white and black birds taking wing over the island out front with swimming cove nearby. Grandfathered to sit right on the shoreline, the Bungalow is a variation of house with swimming pool, only it's the ocean, not a swimming pool.
