Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

"A Suite Above" is a gateway to adventure suitable for all seasons. You can enjoy a view of Shuswap Lake on your private deck with the natural gas barbecue - you’ll never run out of gas! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, coffee maker, kettle and other amenities that will allow you to have a meal on the deck or at the dining table in the suite. The suite is air conditioned and the living area has a cozy natural gas fireplace for those cooler days and nights.

Authentic Finnish Log Cabin on Lakefront property at White Lake. Space for an RV is available. This small log cabin is perfect if you want a simple comfortable place to relax close to the lake. Not a glossy hotel, more upscale rustic. Relax around a campfire, enjoy beautiful sunsets from the dock a short walk from the cabin, rent the wood heated sauna, go for a hike or go fishing. We are on the quiet side of the lake and this is the only rental on the property. We live here year-round.

Perfect getaway close Armstrong, Enderby, Silver Star Mountain, which has great mountain biking/hiking in the summer and fantastic skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Caravan Farm Theatre, Farmstrong Cidery, Enderby Cliffs, vineyards, and the Famous Log Barn all nearby if you want to make a day of it.

We are a 2 minute drive from the Trans Canada highway, making it convenient as an overnight stop between Vancouver and Calgary. FREE off-road parking for 2 vehicles! There is a queen size bed in bedrooms, with comfortable duvet. The sitting room has a queen sized Murphy bed, with the couch folding out to a double bed. Kitchenette (with no sink) WIFI, and lots of TV channels for your viewing pleasure. 15 min walk to local pub, and a 5 minute drive to downtown amenities.

Your own private studio cabin nestled amongst the surrounding trees in the quiet neighbourhood of White Lake. Rustic wood interior finish with large open windows that allow you to feel like your waking up in nature. Lay in bed and look out at the tree tops only feet away with a peak-a-boo view of the pristine nearby White Lake. Come and enjoy your stay at this peaceful and centrally located farm. The guesthouse is situated on a 10 acre working berry farm and peach orchard, 5 minutes to downtown Salmon Arm. Close to many amenities such as the Shuswap Lake, golf courses, wineries and outdoor adventures. You will have your own private deck with hot tub looking over the field of berries. The farm has vegetable gardens and orchards for you to roam and enjoy.

Cosy studio cabin/ yard with easy highway access

Whether it’s your home on the way or a longer stay, you will enjoy your time here. Our little cabin has been recently fully renovated and is very clean. It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.
