This place is a paradise. Adelene is by far the best host we have come across. We felt right at home. The place is located on a very serene and peaceful lake. The owner has decorated this place extremely wonderfully well. We had an amazing time. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway. A+++++

My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful stay at Maureen's place in Laporte! The space was incredibly generous for just the two of us, and despite Maureen living on the property, we felt we had complete privacy while still knowing she was there if we needed anything. The highlight of the house was definitely the enormous, well-equipped kitchen - perfect for cooking meals together after a day of exploring. Speaking of exploring, Maureen was an excellent resource for local activities and attractions, pointing us towards some great experiences in the area. What really made our evenings special was the game room downstairs. After spending our days out adventuring, it was the perfect spot to unwind and have some fun together. Maureen struck the perfect balance as a host - available and helpful while ensuring we felt like we had our own space. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Laporte!

We had such a wonderful time at the house. It is perfectly located in the heart of the Eagles Mere town and is walkable to just about everything. The house itself has the classic look and feel of Eagles Mere which was exactly what we were looking for. It really is a cool house. The kitchen is modern and beautiful, and all of the rooms are super clean and functional. It's just a great place to spend time with family and friends, and you can't beat the location. Selina our host was a terrific and friendly. She reached out immediately with helpful info about the house, as well as the Eagles Mere winter toboggan slide event. We rate our experience as a 5 out of 5.

This is our second year renting this home, and we had a wonderful stay again with our friends! The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and we loved spending time on the spacious wraparound patio, taking in the peace and quiet. The private driveway was a great convenience, and the beds were super comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bedrooms offered lovely views as well, making it a peaceful retreat. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would love to return!

Kimberlee was an amazing host! She was communicative from the beginning until the end of our visit. The cottage was just what we needed for a relaxing EM family getaway. The place was so cozy and had plentiful bedrooms, space and games. She was flexible with checkout and even allowed us to stay later until after our daughter’s last nap. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a problem with tv and after calling owner was there in 10 minutes. We diagnosed problem which was electrical. She offered to have someone come right out but it was evening and we said no next day was fine. Electrician came next day and fixed the problem. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back. Right next door to a country restaurant that serves delicious breakfast! Wonderful town and friendly people.

The property was beautiful and peaceful. Unfortunate that the toilet paper and paper towel rolls were not fresh and tp was gone in under two day(I have bad allergies). Other than that I had a great stay and the decor was very rustic-country.

Jess has managed to plant a beautiful bloom of a "bed & breakfast" with everything we could want for cleanliness, comfort and convenience. This very tidy oasis was perfect for our family visit. It enabled us to roam and return to a base that exceeded our expectations. Kudos for the fully tiled bath with spacious walk-in shower and back-lighted bathroom mirror. And, the mini-split HVAC system kept us so comfy throughout a weekend where temperatures varied from mid-high 70's (with high humidity to match) down to the low 40's with quiet comfort. We cooked a big French toast breakfast with all the trimmings for family that visited with us. The kitchen had everything. There was plenty of space to spread out. The entertainment options were solid, wi-fi very strong, great service. We could definitely tell so much thought went into this"1/2 apartment" it feels like a whole home! Adams place was better than described even. We never struggled even finding parking. The place was super comfortable and centrally located to the area, and made us feel at home.

A spectacular location and a great house. Lots of thoughtful touches - a fully equipped kitchen, water shoes and life jackets for the kayaks, etc. Many hiking trails nearby, the waterfalls trail at Ricketts Glen is a standout. And the hot tub overlooking the lake is an amazing way to close out any day.

Great place. Really clean, very convenient to everything I need. Easy parking lot behind building. Highly recommend this place.
