GODA. Island Hideaway on Svartsö

Fish and bathe in the lake, heat up in the sauna, do yoga and long table dinners in the orangery and sleep under the stars in the cabin. Named GODA ('good'), this is a wonderful place to get back to nature. GODA is a twist on “good” (gott in Swedish/god in Danish); an island hide-out for curious young souls like yourself demanding goodness for nature, self and others. We build GODA in 2016-2018 and she continues to grow and evolve as you will see if you visit her. GODA comfortably hosts 7 people in beds (plus 2 kids beds and 2 baby beds) in the main house and 6 people in Mini GODA. Our latest newcomer with own kitchen, bathroom and space. So a total of 13 adults and 4 kids can enjoy the space collectively, then using madrases on the floor, in the Orangerie or on the benches in the relax room in the sauna to accommodate additional people. The rent is primarily for the main cabin and if a larger group than 7, also for Mini GODA. If you want to access the sauna, orangeri and hot tub, please let us know in advance and we can arrange that, however, the hot tub should be used for stays longer than 4 nights and depends the water level in the lake. The sauna might be rented out by the island hotel during your stay, unless you specifically would like the privacy. In that case, please let us know. The only immediate neighbors are the fascinating fauna that can be discovered all around. There's easy access from the mainland, with boats running all year long. The best access point is on the north side of the island. There are only about 10 cars on the island, all with special permission, so please park your car on one of the main island access points, e.g. Vaxholm (for best access to the house via the north side), Åsättra (Ljusterö) brygga or Boda. You can rent bikes to get around from the grocery store or the hotel (the hotel is only 300m walk from the ground) Easy access from the main land with boats running all year around. The best access is on the North side of the island. Njut av detta unika och fridfulla boende med havet vid dina fötter. Ta båt till kringliggande öar, spring eller gå på stigarna, basta i solnedgången i egen vedeldad bastu längst ut på bryggan eller bada vid stranden, det är naturupplevelser när de är som bäst. Butik finns på ön så ni kan packa lätt, ta er ut i skärgården med färjan som går flera gånger om dagen och bara njuta! Liten motorbåt ingår i bokningen. Även pingisbord och bouleplan! Huset är tillgängligt och varmt året om! Välkomna!

Our boat is suitable for couples who like to surprise or celebrate their partner, adventurers who want to get close to the nature and to still be near Stockholm. A canoe is avalible in summertime. We also offer an add-on spa & wood-heated sauna in eveningtime.

Är ni fler än 4 personer så kan ni hyra till ytterligare en stuga för 4 personer Vandringsleder, café, restauranger och mycket annat finns bara10-20 min bort

Enkel toalett och dusch ca 90 meter ifrån. Endast dusch under sommaren. Max plats för 2 personer.

Unique location on a large plot by the sea with 2 houses, privat located in Stockholm archipelago. The houses are connected by wooden deck, all rooms with seaview and terracedoors. Large kitchen fully equipped, fridge/freezers, dishwasher, dining for 6-8 persons. 50 m to privat jetty. 4 bedrooms with privat entrance. Bathroom build 2025 with wc and shower. A small rowboat is included and you can rent a smaller motorboat. You can rent sheets and towels. 15 min. walk to ferry to Stockholm.

Private sitting area outside cottage, with fully equipped outdoor kitchen, barbecue possibilities and view over the ocean.

Här kan du bo i ett hus direkt vid havskanten i Stockholms skärgård. Endast 30 minuter med bil från Stockholms innerstad. Huset består av ett sovrum med havsutsikt åt två håll, sov med fönstret öppet och hör vågorna. Sällskapsrum med fullt utrustat kök, soffa och fåtöljer. Uteplats åt två håll med både morgon och kvällssol. Det finns en liten stenstrand i direkt anslutning till huset, 20 meter från huset finns också en vedeldad bastu att låna. Badbrygga finns 100 meter från huset.

The house is ok for 4 people in 2 smaller bedrooms and a summer kitchen/orangery. The house is located below the main house which is occasionally used by ourselves or sometimes also rented out separately. 4WD car is recommended.
