Great house! As others have said, the pictures don’t do it justice. The property is very peaceful and private with beautiful scenery. We had a relaxing time at the house and enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. There are a variety of restaurants to choose from in town, only about ten minutes away. The hosts were helpful and very responsive. Very much enjoyed the stay!

This unit is on the western end of a series of duplexes named Senedo Springs. The gravel roads up here are very walkable. It’s possible to trek down to Lake Laura although it’s a big vertical climb back up. The unit is airy and nice, better than the pictures. Thankfully there is not actually a murphy bed in the living room as shown in the pictures. The blankets are outdated so I recommend bringing your own. Plenty of cookware and dishes available but you’ll need to bring oil, spices, and all other food items. The amenities are great! It’s also nice they provide firewood just a short walk away. Good view of Great North Mountain in the winter. Amazing night sky from this location. This was our second time staying here and it kept its five-star rating!

This place was really beautiful and worked perfectly for our group of 10 for a cabin weekend. The house is super spacious, with lots of privacy, especially on the top floor. The large windows looking out on mountain views made the place feel luxurious and super peaceful. Location is great for taking advantage of the area. The hot tub was a big hit, as was the indoor fireplace. The kitchen was really well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. There were plenty of towels, linens, and blankets. Hosts Zee and Sarah were extremely communicative in the weeks/days leading up to our stay, always responding quickly. They were professional and helpful and we felt very well taken care of. There were a few items/spaces in the house that could use some updates/TLC, which we made hosts aware of and they were very responsive. It is also worth noting that there is no phone service up at the cabin until you get on wifi. Thank you Zee and Sarah! We would definitely stay here again.

very friendly host and very engaging, warm space. enjoyed several amenities and was very easy to get settled in. although they're are plenty of bathrooms, keep in mind 2 of them are stationed in the game room. snacks aren't free, although they did provide free one for valentine. Host were very accommodating and communicative and great host.

Our family of four needed a quiet get away, and we enjoyed the beautiful days and evenings, inside and on the deck! Hikes nearby, spa nearby, restaurants, grocery, gas also nearby. Great resort year round! Lots of activities if you want them, and lots of peaceful nature if you want. Great!

My fiber splicing team stayed here and felt right at home, it was a pleasurable location to relax after a long days work. Thank you for the hospitality.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay it was very comfortable and clean. I appreciated the parking was very spacious. The area was so beautiful and so close to everything we wanted to do like Wood Grill in Charlottesville, luray caverns, and Fellowship Baptist church in Madison. Such a great time and experience and a great getaway from Southern California.

we really enjoyed the historic setting, the fantastic location near downtown activities, and wonderful historic neighborhood to walk around. the lodging was very comfortable and quiet. whenever we come back to Charlottesville, this is the place we would choose.

This place was awesome! Clean and quiet with some amazing views. There’s an abundance of wild life so be mindful when driving. The host is amazing. There’s hot chocolate and a beautiful fire place. Blankets if you choose to sit on the balcony with some hot chocolate and enjoy the view. Many food choices to choose from that aren’t too far. Would definitely stay here again and recommend you do too.

A home away from home. Susan has thought of the little things one needs when traveling. Her place is extremely clean, lovely space, and the perfect walk from everything Staunton has to offer. It's our 4th or 5th time staying with her- enough said.

The view is stunning!! Nothing beats waking up on top of a mountain! Mary Beth and Gregg have very helpful instructions to find their home. The house was clean, comfortable, cozy, and well stocked! They had great recommendations for restaurants and shopping in the area. They were very communicative and responded quickly with any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay and what Wintergreen had to offer! Wintergreen is a very beautiful place!

Debbie’s place- The Heart of Town- was the perfect location for us in Woodstock, VA! We were able to walk to the Woodstock Cafe, Woodstock Brewhouse, Spring Tavern and the ice cream shop! Easy drive to Big Schloss and Tibbet Knob and Woodstock Tower for some hiking. Her place was clean and equipped with exactly what we needed! 10/10 recommend 😊

We were very comfortable here and the whole place was very clean and had everything we needed. Jodi communicated quickly if I had questions. It was very peaceful and serene and we hope to go back on our next trip to palmyra in the fall!

Our stay was amazing! The pool was excellent! The rooms were spacious and clean.

John's place was where we based family for our wedding at a local Vineyard. The place is located well in Somerset with access to many local vineyards. We went into Charlottesville for dinner one night, and if you have a car the distance isn't a problem. The place is super clean and the kitchen is great for making a meals with friends and family. Will be back for weekend getaway some time.

We had an unforgettable family vacation at "A Time to Chill". The name fits perfectly... lots of space for our family of five, great game room, super comfortable bedrooms, beautiful backyard, everything spotless and organized. We loved the fire pit with the star filled sky, having a barbecue dinner under the patio lights, and everyone enjoyed the hot tub! Top it off with the breathtaking views and hikes in the Shenandoah National Park, plenty of restaurants with good food, friendly folks, and fun places to sightsee. Every day we came "home" and enjoyed true family time with lots of laughs, sharing stories, hopes for the future and heartfelt prayers. Veronica was very responsive for all our questions. We will always treasure this vacation.

Immense logement fidèle à la description, on s'y sent bien et se trouve proche d'une entrée du parc de Shenandoah (15 minutes en voiture). Darwin répond à toutes les interrogations rapidement. What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Ben's rental home. The house was spotless and incredibly well-maintained—every room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described (if not better!). The photos and description were spot on, and we were pleasantly surprised by how much attention to detail had gone into preparing the space. The owner was outstanding—super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Any questions we had were answered right away, and it really made us feel welcome and taken care of. Overall, this was one of the best rental experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free getaway!
